So much bad with this place I don't know where to begin. \r
I've been there 3 times over the last month and it only gets worse. It seems the more money you spend the worse you get treated, from the 'staff' at the front desk all the way

WORST bowling center ever!!! They worry about what size ball your kid is bowling with. My 10 year old girl was having trouble with the 7lbs. so we asked for a 6lbs., no that's only for 8 and under. Then they switched our lanes mid bowl,

Friday Night and the Bowling Alley is empty ... pretty much says it all!! Five dollars a game?!! and no lane rental fee?! Are the lanes made out of gold? So, if you want to bowl three games in a group of four, your going to pay 60

Don't listen to that retard. He or she obviously isn't very bright and didn't hear correctly. I suggest this alley to anyone close to Gainesville. I like how he or she added that a 5 year old was going bowling too. Who takes 5 year old bowling? I could own her in a game bowling. Parents don't take your kids out. Nobody likes kids when trying to have a fun time out in the town.

Pros: Local and very nice lanes.

Cons: not as clean as it could be all the time

In planning a bowling outing, I contacted this establishment on Monday, August 10, 2009, to inquire about rates. I was told that Wednesdays were "dollar game nights." My party of 5 (including my 5 year old daughter) drove 20 minutes on Wednesday, August 12, at around 7pm to bowl. Once there, I was told the rate was $1.99 per person per game, not $1.00 as I was previously informed of. I explained to the attendant that I had phoned and was given other information and VERY politely asked her to honor the price I was quoted. She would not. Even though the error in the matter was theirs, I then asked her if she would split the difference with me since I was willing to accept some additional cost to bowl over what I had been quoted since we were already there. She would not. Her husband joined in the discussion at this point and likewise wouldn't budge. Their logic was that they had already charged everyone else who was bowling the $1.99 rate so they must charge me the same. They either lacked the decency or the ability to recognize that no one else had been baited into coming at a lower rate as we had. Ultimately, on principle, we left rather than pay the higher price, much to the disappointment of my daughter.

I urge you not to patronize this establishment. If you do, you will essentially be rewarding people that, in my opinion, don't deserve your business. Rather than find an amicable solution to a problem they created, the employees refused to compromise. They decided that making no money off of us at all was preferable to admitting the error, apologizing for it, and accommodating a potential patron who was very reasonable and very composed. Had they taken this later course, I would have been impressed with their conduct and doubtlessly given them my business in the future. Instead, I'll make it a point to try to spare everyone else the kind of headache I experienced by relating what happened.
