Travis Salon & Spa

I love Travis salon! All of the staff is so personable and do such a wonderful job! I have had several people there fix my hair and I have never been anything less than extremely happy with the result!

Almost every person in the salon has worked on my hair and it has been perfect every time, in every style they have made. The staff is always easy to work with and very kind, not to mention understanding and helpful with their opinions.

I read the awful reviews some women left and I do not believe that the service that they claimed to receive is possible. These women must have been extremely rude to the staff and must have expected the workers to just sit by and be walked on. I hail the staff for not putting up with completely self absorbed women.

This salon is for laid back open minded people, not knit picky people, though the stylists do listen if you have objections.

Pros: Great staff, great work and great attitudes
Cons: Hair cut and color can get pricey

The first time that I went to Travis, I wandered about lost. I mean, shouldn't they show you where to go get the gowns? Then I got some sort of Gidget goes to Hollywood hair flip...luckily it was a very good haircut (just a bad styling job).

The second time I went, I got a great haircut. I wanted to compliment the stylist, so I left a message for the owner. She never called.

After my third haircut, I also left a message for the owner. I wanted to compliment the stylist... she never called.

After that, I didn't leave any phone messages, but I wrote a note and left it for the owner. No call.

The last time I went to Travis, the atmosphere was so bad, that when my stylist left...I decided not to go back.

Who knows, maybe I'll give them another try.

You know you'll get good service at an Aveda salon. They have a full boutique if you decide to purchase the products also.

Their hair services are on the expensive side, but massages etc are well priced. I love how the inside is set up with hair upstairs and massage/relaxation downstairs. It really blocks the chatter from the salon.

Plenty of parking, nice quiet street so no traffic sounds at all. Every service I've had here has been what I expected.
