Image Salon and Spa

I would like to share my experience at this salon. I chose this salon from the reviews I read and I was NOT disappointed. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by by the friendly receptionist until I checked out, I was treated like I was very important. First, the salon itself is very charming and clean. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They don't push things on you but they do suggest and let you know what you need. After mu color and cut, which turned out way better than I expected they showed me how to do it at home. I can never make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon but they gave me a lesson on how to do it. I never got that from any other salon. I did not feel obligated to buy products and I did not feel intimidated like some places made me feel. I felt more "at home" among friends than people I had never met. The whole experience was super!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO EVERYONE!!

I just got a haircut from Image Salon and I was veryhappy with what Viki did to my hair. She was very sweet and made my hair look very good. This was my second trip to Image salon and this trip outdid my last one.

Ive never written reviews before but love this salon. Get my hair cut here and love all the staff. I especially love Leigh. Sometimes I don't even need hair cut but love to spend an hour with Leigh. She has such an intoxicating energy and her laughter gets my day going. The salon is very nice and everyone seems to have a good time. Sometime I like just hanging out there or just stoppng to say hey. I reccommend this salon to everyone.

I moved from North Carolina last summer and hadn't had a decent haircut since. My last haircut at an advertised "upscale salon" was a nightmare and I was ready to give up and just travel back to NC every time I needed to get my hair cut, which would leave my wallet in sad shape. A month or so ago, I decided to google "salons" one last time and give it one more go. I'm sooooo glad I did! Image salon was so flexible with my schedule and so understanding of my situation. Lee is vibrant and makes you feel totally comfortable. She fit me into her schedule and listened to my sad story of the nightmare hair cut, and then proceeded to give me a gorgeous haircut that made me able to wear my hair down again! My cut is absolutely perfect. She took time, and didn't rush, which was great. I will definitely come back to Lee. I am so glad that I found her! I had forgotten how amazing it felt to walk out of a salon without wanting to put my hair in a pony tail or put a hat on my hair. Thank you soooo much Lee and Image salon, and I'm going to visit you again in about a week to get my bangs trimmed. I cant say enough about the quality of work, the care of their clients and what great people they are...I am sold!!

Just went to Image Salon for the first time. I read about them on the best of Around About Cumming Magazine online. My stylist did a great job on my hair color, cut and style. She also showed me a couple of different ways to wear my hair, before she even colored it which I had never had anyone do for me. Kim was very friendly and funny. Actually everyone is very friendly from the receptionist who took care of me when I first walked in and another stylist who included me in her conversation as well. I made a follow up appt for next month before I left, so I definitely will be going back. The salon is very charming from the wood floors and stone walls to the beautiful fireplace by the dryers. I definitely reccomend Image Salon and Kim or just pick one they all looked good!

I got married in October and mine and my wedding party went to Image Salon and Spa for our hair and make-up. I am not one to write reviews but I feel I just have to in this case. My hairdo was absolutely gorgeous! I felt and looked like a fairy tale princess. My wedding party were split up among sveeral stylists there and all of our hair turned out beautiful. We had our make-up airbrushed which I had never had done before. I think Brandy was her name that did it at the salon. I just want her to know what a beautiful job she did. Our faces were flawless and the makeup was perfect not too light for the pictures but not too heavy for outdoors either. I am sending you a picture of our wedding. All of us looked so beautiful! Thank you Image Salon for making my day perfect!!!

Alyssa is fantastic. I have had stylists in the past, but I never found one that was able to fit the style to my face and personality. She listens to what is important to me, takes her time to make sure it is done to perfection, and is such a delight to talk to. She cares not only about my hair but who I am too. She is very artistic and when she performs her work it's like a craft. She is very meticulous. She knows her stuff and she's fun. My full head of blond highlights and low-lights are always beautiful. She also fixed my "pre-Alyssa" wacky layers which are now "long" gone. What is great though, is the cut no matter how long my hair gets, the cut is so good that it lays perfectly and always looks great.and it grows out beautifully and naturally. I get compliments on my hair all the time. The best aspect of Image Salon, in addition to Alyssa is the ultra professional knowledge of haircare mixed in a relaxed environment. It's also extremely clean. The salon is upscale yet you feel wonderfully comfortable there. Some high-end salons have the rudest staff, but not at Image Salon and Spa. Everyone I dealt with was smiling, kind, and accomodating and they make you feel so special. It's a treat to be there. See you in December!

If you are looking for a totally relaxing, "all about you" experience, Image Salon and Spa is the place for you. Rhonda takes care of my hair - and really does it right. She is extremely knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and current with both styles and techniques. It also doesnt hurt that Rhonda is a hoot! Shes witty, intelligent and very forthright. She has a way of making you feel right at home from the moment you sit in her chair. She really is a gem. She goes all out to make sure she gives you what you want, even taking me outside the shop to look at hair color in the sunlight! She takes a great deal of pride in her work and always works to make the customer happy. Her significant volume of long-time customers speaks to her track record. She's very attuned to you while you're in the chair - if you've got something going on (good or bad) she can usually read you. She's excellent at adjusting her approach/conversation to fit your mood - all the while giving you one of the best hair experiences you have ever had! I color my hair and it turned out great. She did what I've been trying to get other stylists to do for years. You get one on one attention, just you and her, in the cute, homey atmosphere of her salon. She is also excellent at assisting those of us who aren?t always sure what we want. She gives excellent advice for updating your style, cut and overall look using her artistic eye to help find the right choices for you. Rhonda gives top rate service at reasonable prices without all the hype, high-pressure and pretense. Image Salon and Spa is the real thing! Go there! It's good for your hair and your soul. I'll be back...

After being butchered at another "salon" in Cumming and the color I got was awful I came into Image Salon in tears. I wanted them to try to fix my hair right then but they were full. I was so upset they went out of their way to work me in without infringing on any of their customers with appointments. I had to wait about 45 minutes but I didn't care. Riley was amazing! I don't know how she did it but she did an extraordinary color and highlights and fixed a botched cut without it even looking like she took any more length off. I have never been so happy! I wish I had come here first and it wouldn't have cost me twice to get what I wanted in the first place. I was so scared I was going to have to wear a wig and they could tell how scared and upset I was. Riley deserved much more than I had to pay for my fixed color and cut but she felt bad I was having to pay again even though it wasn't her fault. I also enjoy the salon's fun atmosphere. Thank you soooooo much Image Salon and Riley!!!!!

A terriffic salon! The stylists are down to earth, fashion forward and sweet. I was looking for a new look/image something Stylish,Upbeat,Edgy,but yet feminine,Sexy,and not to over the top for Business.I dont have a clue when it comes to My hair and I look at hairstyle/fashion books,and it still doesnt help me. Lee is my stylist and she explained to me everyone can have a look inspired by classic or couture fasion.its about how I feel,and my confidence with my options. Made perfect sense to me! The color and cut I got makes me excited! the cut is edgy and the color is natural in tone,but yet very modern! I love the attention I'm getting from my new me!! Lee is totally amazing and an artist of style and color. The salon is very nice, cordial and fun. And the most comfortable chairs I've ever experienced in a waiting room! I will recommend this salon and Lee to everyone! Be prepared for the cut of your life.You will never have a better cut or experience. I would rate my experience at this salon and Lee 10 stars but this site 5 is as high as you can get .

I'm not typically one to give recommendtions but.... I moved to Cumming from Seattle. I loved my hair colorist back there and was very nervous about trying someone new. I called Image Salon upon a recommendation from this site and I must say I was NOT disappointed! I LOVE my hair even more than I did before. Riley took me in a very new direction and added wonderful depth and dimension. My hair has been Red for over 10 yrs and I was ready for a change. Of course if you know anything, to go from Red to light Brown w/Blonde highlights is real hard! Well, let me tell you, Riley did better than I even thought was possible! She got the Red out of my hair without leaving any brassy color behind and without stripping my hair. She gave me the mother of color jobs! I walked in a redhead and walked out with honey brown hair with 2 tone highlights all around with chocolate brown coloring in the back I love it, have received tons of compliments and have found my very new favorite colorist. Riley is "the" hair stylist SUPREME blending her hair coloring techniques with an energetic personality, flare and a soothing and honest, encouraging professionalism. Those that have not experienced Riley's outstanding services are missing a rewarding, life changing opportunity.Ladies, I know it can be difficult seeing someone new, but take my word for it and see her-even if it is just for a consultation. You won't be disappointed! I have to add that while I was sitting in the fabulously, comfy overstuffed chairs in the waiting area, I saw on the wall that this salon won awards for Best Salon in Cumming 2009 and Best of Cumming 2010 twice for hair salon and for day spa and was featured in Around Cumming magazine and if I had been here before, they would certainly have my votes, too! I don't like stuffy, quiet salons and this is one of the things that I truly enjoyed, besides Riley, about this salon. It was full of laughter, people moving about, music and a sort of noisy fun that really made me feel so comfortable. I love this salon and Riley and I HIGHLY recommend it as the best hair salon in town!!

Image rocks!!! After moving to Cumming from Chicago last year and attempting to transition from a stylist I had seen for seven years who knew my hair inside and out to a new salon here in Cumming, I was completely dissatisfied with the results I experienced from THREE different salons, all pricey and considered higher end. I decided to try Image after reading quite a few top notch reviews and I will be forever grateful! Not only did my stylist give completely honest and accurate advice on my desire to color my hair a certain way, she then called to check on the results a few days later. I would say the best customer service I have seen from a salon, especially when all my prior stylists had been so arrogant about their work, even though they all massacred my hair! Alma fixed my haircut that a previous stylist at another salon had completely butchered ( I have very thick hair) and my color looks beautiful. I highly recommend this salon if you are tired of messing around with pretentious overpriced snobs that pretend to know what they are doing. Here you can be sure you will be respectfully listened to by a very professional and friendly staff in an upbeat atmosphere!

The owner, Leigh makes you feel relaxed and welcomed when you walk in the door. All the staff are friendly, yet very professional. I had my hair cut done by Lee, which in all honesty was the best cut I've had in 10 years. I returned the following week to have a massage with Lori and that was also tremendous. You will be happy you decided to visit this salon.

My daughter and I came into this salon yesterday looking for haircuts. When we walked in we could tell it was very busy as all the seats were taken and a lot of people walked in behind us. We didn't mind waiting a bit and since the front was so crowded with people, we had to go back to the dryer area to wait if we wanted to sit down. The staff was very attentive to our needs and comfort even though they were very very busy and it was so crowded. They took the time to ask us if we needed anything while we waited and treated us the same as those that had appointments. I cannot tell you how important that made us feel. We were shown to our hairstylist in an orderly fashion and even though we had no appointment, our stylist did not rush us through. I had had my hair ruined at another salon here in town and Alma evened it out and actually was able to give me a cute cut without having to take much more off at all! My daughter's hair turned out very cute, also and we were so happy. I have to say that this is the nicest salon, the staff, the attention, the atmosphere, all of it,that I have been in since I left Maine. We were so happy that we both booked our next appointments before we left. I definitely recommend this salon to everyone.

First time client and it was one of the best haircuts and colors I've had in a long time! New to the area from Chicago I had tried 2 other Salons in the Cumming area and Image is steps ahead of the other stylists I've had. Attention to detail and great staff resulted in a wonderful haircut and color. From the moment I entered Image Salon until I left, I felt very special.The staff was very friendly, and they all made me feel very comfortable. Not only did they 'lift' my hair but also my spirits. They know color as well as style; they also understand the chemistry of hair and my hair was left feeling silky soft! I believe the biggest compliment a hairstylist can receive is referrels. Every time someone asks me who is your stylist, that's what I want I don't take any credit for that it truly is the gifts and talents of Alyssa and Image Salon. I can't begin to tell you how much I love my hair. I will be back!!!

This was my first time here and I was extremely pleased with the result. I got a fantastic touch up on some severely out-grown roots, high lights and low lights. The blond matched my skin tone and previous hair color perfectly. Lee is super sweet and adorable, and had me laughing the whole time. This is so important to me. The last place I went to was so different. The stylist never talked to you about anything. Just asked you how you wanted your hair, and that was it. She listens to what I want and at the same time, adds her personal touch to help guide me in the right direction. She delivered a really artful job! She has terrific instincts, and is very engrossed in her work. I won't be going to anyone else ever. This place is so alive and they really know what they are doing. The atmosphere is intoxicating and friendly and they use high quality products. I absolutely love Norah Jones and Enya and that music was playing overhead the entire time! Everyone that left there looked so damn good. I am hopelessly hooked and so very happy I found this salon! I highly recommend Lee but I know the other folks are excellent too. I recommend this salon to everyone. I am definitely a fan.

I am new to this salon and am very pleased. After reviewing your website and reading your reviews, my expectations were high and I was not disappointed. I am a very busy business person and am very particular about every aspect. My appointment was right on time and my stylist was very personable. She introduced herself and took me back to her chair. During the initial consultation, I explained exactly what I wanted and she actually listened to me and went over some more suggestions. After deciding, she colored and cut my hair. It turned out EXACTLY as promised and I am extremely happy. The atmosphere of the entire salon was mood enhancing, warm and uplifting. I wanted to look my best for Christmas and New Year as I had a few functions to attend. Everyone complimented me and my holidays were perfect. I have already recommended Image Salon to everyone and will continue to do so as I am a forever client of yours. The best resolution you can make for 2010 is to make an appointment at Image Salon and discover what I have discovered. I promise you will not be sorry. I can only recommend this salon, I cannot make you go; that step is up to you. Happy New Year to everyone!

I have been a client of Tammy Shelton for years and followed her to Image Salon. After my last appointment, I was asked how I liked my hair and the Image Salon experience and if I did, would I take a moment to review them. I will be more than happy to write a review for this salon and for Tammy. This is the nicest salon I have ever frequented and I love Tammy. The girl works magic! Her cuts are always perfect and her colors true, rich and vibrant. I ALWAYS get compliments. And I really enjoy this cute salon. It has a very warm feel, friendly people, fragrant air and a beautiful mix of textures. The colors are very earthy and I love the fireplace in the shampoo/dryer room. I love the mixture of hardwood, stone and concrete floors. The music is very pleasing yet upbeat. They also do fun things; like today I hunted for a turkey they have hidden in the salon somewhere. Whoever finds it wins a gift certificate. Tammy, together with this salon make for an absolutely wonderful experience. I absolutely recommend this salon to everyone!

I am new to the area and I went online to find a new stylist in Cumming. God, 5,000 salons popped up and Image Salon caught my eye - website interesting and reviews great. I felt a good vibe from this place (reviews=fantastic). I am very picky and still a little nervous when it comes to picking a new place for my hair. I kept putting it off, but I am job searching so I did need an updated look so I called and booked my first appointment. After reading all the hairstylists profiles I couldn't decide which one to pick and let them give me one. When I walked in I immediately loved the salon, music and charm. Most salons are tumultuous and smelly but this one had a very mellow feel with a unique earthiness with no harsh chemical smells. I was impressed by the way the place looked. I watched the stylists from the large mirrors. Everyone looked so put together and the stylists were cutting hair on men as well as women. All the cuts looked great. My hairstylist was Terri and she greeted me and we sat down to discuss hair.I was relaxed and confident in her hands. She made me comfortable while Norah Jones and Miles Davis provided background. I am so happy to find my new stylist, its been years since I've been ecstatic about my hair. I got a great cut, gorgeous highlights around my face, a hot chocolate and some great conversation! I look forward to coming back. Its nice to have a fulfilling experience at a hair salon.

My name is Priscilla and I decided to try this place after reading their website I was very impressed. Not only was my color exactly what I wanted and my cut perfect the girls were amazing. I had a cup of apple cider and watched something on the tv while my color was on. This place has a contagious energy and fun. I just happened to be there last Thursday when the girls pulled a joke on another girl in the salon. I don't know what it was about but the laughter was really catching. There were a lot of people in the salon and the other girls had a man come in and pull a joke on one of the workers. I had to watch because everybody got quiet and turned off everything when he came in. Then everybody started laughing even the customers and I couldn't help laughing either and I don't even know why. It was just that the atomosphere in this salon is so relaxed, warm, friendly and inviting and the energy is overwhelming. I love my color and its the best I've had and I've been to some really expensive and uppity salons. Calling Image Salon should be the number one thing on your list of things to do. I know I will be back! Thank you for giving me such a beautiful new look.

Alma and Jennifer are super good. Two of the most talentaed hairstylists I have been lucky enough to find. Jennifer did my hair first at Image Salon but when I came back she was too busy and I got in with Alma. I loved the way Jennifer did my hair and was a little reluctant about changing but I had no choice, my roots were 2 feet long and I had a big event that evening. I was amazed at how Alma did my hair just as well. My color was beautiful, hot and sexy and my cut was bouncey and sexy. WOW two stylists in the same shop. Now I'm not afraid to use any of the other stylists there. I did see some great highlights and cuts by the other girls while I was there. The salon is also very nice, comfy and clean. This may sound odd but among the things I liked in this salon were the nice fluffy hand towels in the bathroom. No scratchy paper towels or hot air dryers that burn my hands. There were nice towels rolled up in a basket. Its attention to the little things we, as customers, notice. Thank you. I will recommend this salon and Jennifer and Alma and I'm sure, everyone else there to everybody.

I will be more than happy to review this salon. I came to this charming and enchanting little retreat as a new client. My hairstylist was Lee and she was absolutely amazing! She listened to what I wanted and helped me create a new look. My cut is perfect and my color is rich with sparkle and shine. While my color was processing, I sat by a fireplace in a big wingback stuffed chair and sipped a hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick, in a cute coffee mug. The whole salon is warm and inviting with an energy all its own. I am new to the area so it is surprising that I found exactly what I want in a hair salon the very first time! I have told all my friends about this place and I very much so recommend it to everyone. Two thumbs up!

I had a very wonderful experience today with the best stylist I've ever found. Alma at Image Salon in Cumming gave me the cutest cut I've ever had. Sexy is how my hubby describes it and a very hot copper color. She is truly amazing and really knows color and cuts. A very very nice friendly and accommodating salon. I have found my salon and colorist and I'm passing it along to you. I highly recommend this salon and Alma.

I am young and prematurely gray. I do not want to hide it but I want to enhance the color. I work in the art world and have no hair boundaries. My friends told me about Chelli. She has 20 plus years of color experience. We did black and white low lites and decided on a chunky bob. My hair looks gorgeous, like a work of art in itself. the price was fair considering the amount of artistry and talent. I was offered lunch and drinks while processing. I have found my stylist! Anyone who has given up on their hair or needs a new look and doesn't know where to start- START HERE! Chelli will change the way you feel about your hair! And the shop experience was a delight. Very beautiful, comfortable and pleasing. The search is over!

this girl is amazing - every time i get my hair done by jennifer i get compliments everywhere i go. the grocery store, my daughter's school, people stop and comment! it's crazy! sometimes i have to go longer between cuts or colors but it still looks great! it's like it starts morphing into another fabulous cut! she loves what she does and it shows. i have never been disappointed. she always hits the color on the head (no pun intended!) - whether you just want to freshen up your original color or go a little more dramatic she will do that for you, working with skin tone, maintenance issues, etc. she is just so good! you will not regret going to see her - she is so fun, witty & caring and wants to make you look your best! don't put it off - call her today!! :) and i love her new salon. its beautiful and the people are so nice and friendly. its convenient and always busy with fun people. you'll be glad you made the call!

It was a refreshing change to enter Image Salon and Spa. I went here for the first time last month in hopes of finding someone who could fix the disastrous and hideous color and cut I had received at another salon. Tammy seemed to know exactly what I wanted and asked a lot of questions to make sure we were on the same page. My color was superb and the cut perfect!! Most nice salons are stuffy and uncomfortable but the friendly staff and open area made me feel right at home. Wonderful location, plenty of parking, beautiful and clean facility. The only problem I can see happening is that you may have to book in advance because they were really busy unless you luck up on a cancellation. In my opinion, it is one of the best and most popular salons in the area. For overall satisfaction with your hair, prices and salon, you just can't beat this experience. - Alli

I really enjoy this salon. Each time I go it's like a party. I feel like I can be myself and I always get a fabulous cut, I've also had color and it is exactly what I want each time. If you are looking for a great new haircut or color with a hairstylist who actually listens to you and in a beautiful and comfortable setting then look no further than Image Salon, oops and Day Spa I also had a very good wax. It's very conveniently located in the shopping district. Call them and you'll never go anywhere else.

I don't normally write reviews about any kind of business because it is hard for me to put my feelings down on paper. However, I feel obliged to say a few things about the place I have my haircut. I am a regular at Image Salon and have been coming to Anita at this location nearly 15 years for my haircuts. I have never had a complaint about any of my visits, and always left feeling much better than when I came in, simply because of the fun atmosphere. The hairdressers employed here are very talented at what they do! Furthermore, from what I have observed, they care about customer satisfaction and go the extra mile to achieve this. I highly recommend Image Salon to anyone who is looking for a step up in quality at a very reasonable price! Thanks Image !

I was actually referred to this place from another salon and it was very easy to navigate my way there, I had no trouble finding it at all, and upon doing so I thought the salon was remarkably charming. First off, what struck me most about the place was how very friendly and welcoming it was. It wasn't over the top friendly where you find it impersonal, but the employees and the owner are genuinely sweet and make you feel right at home. They insist that everyone should be able to afford salon services and there is no reason to charge $75 for a hair cut. I had the best hair cut I have ever had anywhere and I will be a customer forever. I'm also ridiculously joyed to have found a place to properly shape my eyebrows! That is what I originally came for but after seeing some of the amazing cuts while I was waiting, I had a cut, too.
I have been looking for a place to give me a proper brow arch like the Lebanese pop stars, and they knew exactly what I was talking about and shaped them perfectly. I have never had a more relaxing experience in a salon and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Honestly, when considering how great the service is and how reasonable the prices are it makes no sense that it even exists, but thank God it does!!
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great salon, check it out!!

This place has one of the most original energies in the area. Good enough to make me want to skip late night parties and kick back with some real people. Their style is something to be admired and aspired to by all the cookie cut shops in north ga. If you want someone who will give you ideas and give you a hair style rather than a hair cut then you should definitely try this salon. My stylist let me know exactly what she was doing rather than just doing it. Great job. It's really great that such quality service is available in Forsyth county for a reasonable price and everyone should know about it.
The salon is located right in the middle of Forsyth County's shopping district, which is super convenient. I can't believe I didn't know about Image Salon and Day Spa before, but now I know I will never use another salon and Ill definitely be coming back for more services.

I hadn't had a consistant stylist for over three years, but I do now! Chelli is one of the most talented, thoughtful, and competent hair stylists/colorists I've ever encountered. She takes her time and uses her estimable talents to provide clients with a cut that is flattering and color that truly complements a clients coloring. She understood exactly what color I was looking for and how to take that concept one step further and make it fabulous. They did not push any products but recommended some in a very non threatening way, which was great and the overall price was good. I will be a loyal client and will recommend Chelli and Image Salon and Spa to all my friends and coworkers!! The salon setting is lovely, low-keyed, and doesn't have that assembly-line feel so many other spots do. Every time I go, the place is decorated a little different with beautiful furnishings. The bathroom is even spectacular. I even got my coffee with a stick of rock candy!!!! Yum!!! Just the atmosphere makes you want to be there. It just doesn't get any better!

I just moved to Georgia from New York. I'm also a refugee from the best salons in NYC: Dessange, Pierre Michel, Louis Licari, Hershberger, Bumble. I have been to at least three "high end" salons here in Cumming to get the blonde I wanted and have been extremely unsuccessful in finding a hair salon here that knows how to work with blondes (I have dropped hundreds of dollars at overpriced salons in this city and have been completely unsatisfied... so much in fact that it was cheaper and easier for me to just book a ticket back to NY every 2-3 months to get my highlights done than gamble with some horrible colorist that charges outrageous prices). But I have never been so happy with someone at a salon as I was last week with Tammy Shelton at Image Salon and Spa! I chose Image Salon after reading some great reviews and their website (and by the way, it is a great website; very, very informative with interesting little tidbits and links) Not only was Tammy one of the most pleasant colorists I have ever worked with, she was extremely talented and listened to exactly what I wanted. She has an amazing eye for color and is such a gem. She had to work me in and she stayed really late, well past closing (everyone except the receptionist, had already left), and did NOT over charge. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had, and at the risk of sounding over the top, she was just outstanding. I would recommend her to anyone. I am just so happy and glad to have finally found a great place with a great, non-pretentious attitude. I also love the vibe at Image - friendly, fun, downtown-ish without being self-consciously hip, with a great staff from the receptionists to the many professionals working there. Give them a try while you can still get in!

I was browsing salon websites in cumming to find a good one since I'm new to cumming and I really liked yours. I came in last Friday and Tammy did my color. I have to say I am very very happy and you were everything your website said you were and more. You have a beautiful and informative website and I told you that when I was in the salon. The salon is also welcoming, warm and energetic. Love the people and am happy I found you. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and call them. I didn't think it possible that the karma could improve but in the past couple of weeks every time I walked by this place, it glows! So I finally decided to walk in and do it! Cut off all my hair. They could not fit me in so I had to make an appointment and come back. I almost lost my nerve and started not to come but something about that place just pulls me. I don't know what it is. SO I came back on monday and Krista cut my hiar. I went from long long middle of my back to a short stacked bob. I am so very happy with my haircut, its perfect! I like the set-up to, the salon has a separate dryer and shampoo room from the rest of the salon. Wow all of this and Aveda too!!! I recommend this place to everyone. Once you go in or by, you will know what I am talking about the karma and the haircuts. Cant wait to get my highlights done!

A few weeks ago I gave a review for Image Salon because I liked their service. In that review I mentioned a new salon I had gone to previously and did not like my service. I did not give the name of that salon for obvious reasons. However in light of all the new salons that have recently opened, let me just state that the new salon to which I was referring is one that has just opened in the past two months by the Avenues of Forsyth. I am still very pleased and glad I found Image Salon.

I went to Image Salon today for a color. I had never been there before but I liked the reviews I read and I phoned and made an appointment. The salon was exactly what I expected. I have never been so happy and pleased with my hair. Terri did an exceptional job, perfect color. I not only received good attention, a great cut and color, but it was extremely entertaining as well. The girls are so funny and I laughed the entire time I was there! I had never met any of these girls before but they were so warm, friendly and funny, I felt as if I knew them all. I felt right at home the minute I walked in. I highly recommend this salon to everyone.

There are the obvious reasons why you should get your hair done at Image salon (expert stylists, expert colorists, long standing reputation) but I have learned why Image really rocks: ALL of the stylists! I finally found Terri from her previous salon where she was coloring my hair, and when I came in for my haircut, I asked her opinion on the coloring job I'd received elsewhere the previous day that I wasn't sure I liked. She was gentle in telling me that it probably wasn't the best look for me, among some other things that needed to be adjusted to make it look better (lightening the base and such). Obviously I was a little bummed that my $200+ coloring job wasn't being praised by anyone in Image, but a few minutes later into the cut, she rounded up a team of stylists and colorists for their opinions and all suggested how to make it work with another series of dyes. Scared at the thought of having to shell out another large sum of $ to fix my hair, Terri offered to do the coloring herself to help me save some cash. She then called another colorist over to advise with the shades and help mix the dyes and that's when I knew I was getting unprecedented service. All of the stylists and colorists went out of their way to help fix my hair when they could have just told me to go back to the previous salon for a re-do. Everyone - including me - was so excited when my hair turned out amazing. Terri's cut is, as always, the best and she did a fantastic job fixing my blondes and roots - I am so happy I found her new salon. I highly recommend this salon and especially Terri. Thanks guys!!

I've had the same hairstyle forEVER! When I finally decided to update my look, I decided I would spend whatever and go to a really good salon. I went to a new salon that had just opened in Cumming (won't mention the name) but came out realizing that salon was not all it was cracked up to be and I am definitely not a huge fan of concrete floors, I like to be reminded I'm inside not out walking on the street. The cut wasn't good and the place was like a factory. I ended up at Image Salon based on several great reviews I read on the net. The reviews couldn't have been more spot on. Krista was my stylist and she was fantastic. She listened to my ideas, and then explained exactlly what she would do. It all sounded good to me and it came out even better than I expected. She took her time and was very professional. She's fun to see and smart to talk with. She is the Diva of Design! On top of that, the salon operates like a finely-tuned machine. I tend to plan my visits in the middle of the day so I can have the relaxation it provides blend with the rest of my day. It makes going back to a stressful office actually pleasant.

For beautiful color with exceptionally natural and stunning results you can't do better than Tammy at Image Salon and Day Spa. Everyone who works there is so nice and the place has great energy. I've been to many of the "top" salon's in Atlanta and Buckhead and can't say I've had better results with anyone. She uses a technique for foils that allows for less out-growth and less damage to the hair. Instead of very unnatural stripey highlights, Tammy paints on color that elicits a very sun-kissed quality---think Giselle Bunchen's honey-hued locks--very natural and subtle but in a knock-out, what's different about you kinda way. She lightens hair gradually from root to tip, creating the ultra natural effect which mimics nature's way of lightening your hair. I like the way she takes face shape, eye color and skin tone into account when figuring out the kind of look she wants to create. All said she is brilliant! One thing to keep in mind is that she is highly booked so call ahead!

Great prices and top notch colorist. In these hard economic times, what a delight it is to find a hair stylist that can meet both of these requirements! I can truly say that "Insider Pages"came through for me again...Thank you Insider! From the really friendly desk staff to the girl who offered & brought me a selection of tea or coffee, to the yummy shampoo massage, and my artist stylist Chelli who really took time and attention & detail to my haircut, I fully enjoyed this experience. She did a FANTASTIC job on my haircut, color & style. She is Very good at what she does, and my hair never looked better, and is in much better condition as well. And her prices are very reasonable to begin with for the quality job she does. I also love that they support Locks of Love. I am very happy.... And want everybody else to know what a great find she is. If your reading this, consider yourself LUCKY to have found her!! I know I am!! All in all, I would definitely recommend this salon, and Chelli, to others, and will delightedly return for my next hair styling!
