BEST crunch cakes in town. Sooo good with chocolate chips and granola- cannot have them any other way now. You can have coffee while you're waiting and a whole carafe at the table. Great service.

J Christopher's is a fun restaurant. However it can get extremely crowded on the weekends. If you feel like being served a creative and tasty breakfast (whether it be a light meal or a heavy meal) make sure you get out of bed at a reasonable hour and on the road or you will be waiting for a while.

My husband and I visited J Christophers (in Dunwoody, Ga) for the first time with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren on Father's Day 2008. When we arrived at the restuarant, they were super busy (given this was Father's Day) and I thought this is going to take forever. I phoned my son and told him what it looked like and he also was surprised that they were that busy. I told him I would check to see how long of a wait we would have. The greeter advised it would only be a 5 - 10 minute wait but they could not seat us until everyone in our party was there. As soon as I saw my son and his family drive up, I told the greeter and it was maybe a matter of 10 minutes that we had to wait. But, let me tell you it was worth the wait. The food was delicious, the service was great and my son and I both agreed it will definitely be a restuarant that we will visit again. Another thing that impressed me was that they prepared our grandchildrens' food first. That always makes for a pleasant visit. I really can't praise them enough. I will be telling all our friends about JChristopher.

We ate here for the first time today and it was great! The blueberry crunch pancakes were super good, and the omelet was cheesy and decently sized (it's not SUPER huge, though). Our waiter was also really attentive and friendly. Watch out for after-church crowds on Sundays, but we got in before they did and only had to wait 5 minutes.

If you are willing to wait for a table at J. Christopher's you would be much better off at Crescent Moon or Java Jive. The food at J. Christopher's is not worth the wait or the price. There are much better places out there!

Pros: outside perimeter

Cons: , food is average, long wait

With numerous locations around the metro area all serving the same menu, this Atlanta-based breakfast chain also does lunch, offering sandwiches and salads. But the chief draw is eggs and pancakes. If you ask for eggs softly poached,…
