A botique not a real Office Depot
by Scott M.
Several years ago Office Depot closed their regulation sized store south of the Interstate. The store that they closed had spacious aisles and was stocked in a logical manner with a wide selection of office supples.
The new store was opened on the other side of the Interstate in the new Wal-Mart/Home Depot shopping center. This store is less than one half the size of the previous sore. The central area is a circular display of high profit item impulse buys. the aisles in this area are narrow. It is hard to find basic office items and because of the size of the store, selection is limited. They are forced to keep metal shipping boxes outside the building to store excess stock.
There is a brand new Staples down the road that is doing a "Land-Office" business selling to business people and a brand new Circuit City selling a better selection of high end impulse buys to consumers.
Office Depot...What were you thinking???

This Office Depot is a small circular store. The layout of this store is crowded. I feel like it's hard to locate items in this store. The entrance and exit of this store is easy considering it is located in a very busy shopping center.
