I will never take my animals back to Banfield again! I used a Banfield in Lawrenceville, GA that was okay, but overpriced. Since I now live in Alpharetta I decided to try the location close to me to see if it was better than what i was used to. IT WAS AWFUL!!! I spent $100 and got absolutely no accurate information on a skin condition that my cat had. My cat does not have FIP, but when talking with the vet on the subject she told me there was a test AND a cure for this disease. She also wanted to charge me $150 to test for it, even though there is no accurate test for this disease (which she claimed there was). This is a 100% fatal disease that cats can have which has no cure. I want to warn everone not to take any animals to this vet. I think there is a big problem when a vet gives you completely inaccurate information. Once I find out the Dr's name I will re-post.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Un-Educated Vet, Overpriced, Unnecessary Testing

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. The doctors work for PRODUCTION, so just know that your dog or cat WILL ALWAYS have some kind of ear infection or something like that.

2. Once you see this location you will see that there is no order in the back. It will always take at least an hour and a half just to be seen by the doctor.

3. They will have a nurse that doesnt even know what she is talking about try to tell you what is going on. They have no training.

4. When you go to leave the people up front have no idea what was done or not, so make sure that you dont pay for something that was not done. This makes your time there even longer everytime.

5. NO WAY THAT THIS IS A GOOD DEAL, even with the WELLNESS PLANS. There is still always some other charge racked on to you.

Loved this Vet as they were always accommodating with appointment times, had late afternoon hours and are very convenient to home. When one of our cats had problems they were very compassionate, great at explaining all our options for treatment and were very helpful and kind to us. They truly care about the pets and the families of the pets.
