Shellhouse Restaurant

We love going to the Shellhouse Resturant in Svannah off I -95 and HWY 204. Great food and very good prices. My husband likes steamed seafood (shrimp and crab claws) and I like the fried shrimp! The locals love it and some people drive an house away once a week to eat at the Shellhouse!

We grew up on the coast of NC, and are biased when it comes to seafood. We make sure to eat here every time we are in GA, even making special trips just for it! A must for tourists and locals alike- worth every penny, with outstanding service and a great atmosphere.

This is without a doubt my favorite seafood place to eat, period. They have a unique spice they put on their shrimp for their seafood platter that is out of this world. It's certainly not the classiest place There are holes in the center of the tables with trash cans underneath so you can get rid of all the scraps but they pile the food on so high you need to be able to get rid of the shells in a hurry. I stop by whenever I'm passing through Savannah. Since I lived in Savannah, it's not as good as it used to be, but still my favorite seafood restaurant.

This is one of the best places ever.At the Shellhouse the staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are clean.They have delicious food.this is were you need to go.
