O K Cafe

I have been to the OK Cafe about 3 times and the food was excellent! However, the last time I was there both the Meatloaf and the Pot Roast was horrible. The Meatloaf that use to have a meaty and hearty texture tasted like it had too many fillers and not enough meat. The Pot Roast was dry, stringy and tough. I don't know whether or not they have new cooks, but compared to my visits before this, I was surprised and very disappointed. Especially so, because I had raved about it so much to my friends and brought a guest with me. She said she never wanted to go back.
Ok Cafe: For the sake of customers like me, who love to cook and know what good food is suppose to taste like, STEP IT UP!

OK Cafe is a neighborhood favorite for families. It's great for brunch too, but be prepared to wait on weekends, as it is very popular! Reasonably priced for the huge portions you get - usually $20-30 for a couple. Fast service, and the servers have always been friendly and helpful.

The sweet tea was the best I've ever had! I ordered the turkey and dressing dinner which was mostly good. What bothered me was the dressing had green pepper in it and the cranberry sauce had crunchy things added to it--not exactly my taste. But overall it was a good meal and I'd stop there again in the future. Food was organic and they offered a few items for vegetarians, too.

If you want some good food that tastes like mamma used to make, try OK Cafe. They have good southern food at reasonable prices. You can also use their take out service.

I love this restaurant! For good ole' Southern country cooking, this is an excellent place! And the price is great because you get so much food, you can make another meal out of left overs!

The restaurant itself is good, with reasonable prices and quality food. (Though I wish they'd get rid of the huge Confederate flag in the main dining room.)

The take-out is definitely overpriced for what it offers. They charge by the pound, which can really add up quickly. Expect to pay at least the same as what you'd pay in the restaurant, except for food that's been sitting out a while. But if you've got a thick wallet, then the take-out is wonderful!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good and very inexpensive. The service was wonderful. Very friendly. I really enjoyed the hamburger.

Great family place. Fast service. Friendly waiters and waitresses. The pot roast is great and the cornbread muffins are, too. A great place for take out or eat in.

OK take away is a great place to eat. The food is great and prices are awesome. Service is wonderful. Easy to get in and out of, you never have to wait too long! If you looking for some A+ southern food go here!

I can never get enough of this restaurant!

The prices are fantastic for the amount of food you receive, the staff is always generous and friendly - I have never had a bad server. Great choices for meat eaters (Blue Platter specials) and vegetarians like myself alike. Even choices for kids, who will love the fun and crazy environment as much as the amazing macaroni and cheese. Other menu items include Crab and Crawfish Cakes, Fried Chicken, and incredible Meatloaf.

Despite being right off of the 75 West Paces Ferry exit, the wait time is relatively small. I do reccomend arriving earlier or later than "normal" dinner time as the place can get packed.

All in all this is a great restaurant for families and couples alike - Definitely try it out!
