I had been given a couple of gift cards to Darden Resturants and decided to go to the Longhorn's in Canton, GA Sunday night 10/30. Bad Mistake!\n\nThe bread was, as always, delicious. The salads were wilted, and warm as well as about half as big as they used to be. The house dressing was really good, as always, just not enough of it. I ordered the 16oz. T-bone and asked that it be ""almost medium, slightly pink inside"". My wife had the small fillet cooked medium.\n\nMy wife's steak was an unrecognizable piece of meat. Fillets are supposed to be round in shape - this one was anything but. Triangular shaped fillets are the very end of the loin and the grain is not the same as a real fillet. My wife's was tough and very over cooked.\n\nI wish I could have weighed my ""16oz"" T-bone. It was barely 1/4 of an inch thick, had one bite of tenderloin, and was red and bleeding at the bone. So much for pink inside. Sent it back and it was still blood red. All in all, for the $52.19 that this ""meal"" cost, it was an extreme rip - right down to the $2.49 for a glass of tea!\n\nDo yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Waffle House serves a better T-bone for a lot less money.

I had been given a couple of gift cards to Darden Resturants and decided to go to the Longhorn's in Canton Sunday night 10/30. I had pretty well decided to never go to Longhorns again but thought I would give it another try. Bad Mistake!

The bread was, as always, delicious. The salads were wilted and about half as big as they used to be. The house dressing was really good, as always, just not enough of it.

I ordered the 16oz. T-bone and asked that it be "almost medium, slightly pink inside". My wife had the small fillet cooked medium. My wife's steak came very over done, and was an unrecognizable piece of meat. Fillets are supposed to be round in shape - this one was anything but. Triangular shaped fillets are the very end of the loin and the grain is not the same as a real fillet (cheap). My wife's was tough and very over cooked.

Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Waffle House (2 blocks down on the left) serves a much better T-bone for a lot less money!

Since we have a young one, we tend to go out for lunch on weekends instead of dinners. This place is always so friendly and courteous to us, even with a toddler in tow. The service is consistently good, the food is consistently tasty and matches with other Longhorns around North Atlanta and I've never had a bad experience at this place.

Pros: Excellence in service, food quality, etc.

Great steaks, (better than Outback)...great salmon...ribs are good too...very friendly, but certainly not the quietest place in town...usually crowded, but never a problem getting seated fairly quickly...filet w/ bleu cheese is awesome!!!

The steaks at longhorns are good. The reason that I love going to the one in Canton GA, is that the service is always Friendly they have a clean establishment. Their food is always cook to almost perfection. I only had to ever send my food back one time and that was my fault. I love that they have call ahead seating.
