I spoke with Sam Griswold on several occasions regarding a used Ford F-150 that was offered at their dealership. I explained that I was approximately 3 hours away and was trying to cover every issue prior to making the drive. I was assured that the truck was in mint condition and that there were no issues with it. According to the Carfax report, this was true. Sam and I came to an agreement on price and a day to purchase the truck. Upon my arrival, the truck was in the shop having a power window replaced. I left, went to lunch and returned an hour later. When I returned the repair was complete and I began to look at the truck. This vehicle had OBVIOUSLY suffered a driver's side collision. The rear bumper was pushed into the rear quarter panel. The left rear wheel had been replaced. The driver's door was no welded together at the bottom and whenever it was opened or shut, broken glass would fall out and land on your feet. The truck had many other scratches throughout and the back seat floor looked like a crime scene. I discussed a missing passenger step with Sam??s manager (don??t know the name) who assured me that the step was stolen and that the truck had not been wrecked. When I pointed out the evidence of an accident with this truck, Sam said that would explain why the step was missing. His lies and the managers lies weren??t even coordinated. The condition of this vehicle was obviously misrepresented, causing me to drive 3 hours each way to look at a wrecked truck. At least Sam was kind enough to refer me to another one of their dealerships to look at a different vehicle.

I needed a small repair for my daughter's college vehicle, a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. I knew that the problem was the blower motor and it would need to be replaced. I called the service department and spoke the Manager who gave me a price of 319.00 to replace the blower motor.
I took the car to the dealer on Monday and left it so they could replace the blower motor. Later that day, I called back to check on the repair only to be told that now they would need to replace the resistor and the connector for the blower motor as well and the new price would be $447.00.
I considered picking the car up and going elsewhere right then but did not. GOD, I wish I had. When I picked the car up on Friday, the blower motor works great but now the air conditioner puts out hot air. The manager for the service department tells me that the two systems have nothing to do with each other and I probably have a freon leak that needs to be repaired.
The car did not have a freon leak before I brought it in and the only thing that was wrong was the blower motor would not work, the a/c was fine until the car was "repaired".
AVOID the service department here at all cost!
