It's kind of amazing that there are 3 Japanese restaurants in Conyers, but this is the best for the money by far. Their fried rice is so good I actually crave it at times. It's really nice to go somewhere you can get a sit down lunch for under $10 (drinks are free before 2)!

Ratings_icons Be Careful!!

Food is always great!! Love the seafood sauce. Some chefs can be very quiet, not giving a great show.

Be careful of the fried rice since there are hard pieces in it, I know someone who cracked a tooth on one of the grains. Not a lot of meat/seafood with your meal, but you do get what you pay for.

Ratings_icons Great place for sushi!

Rebekah K. | insider Insider | Rank: 23,134

I have eaten here several times but haven't taken advantage of the Hibachi grills yet. The fried rice is delicious! If you're looking for a place to get fresh sushi in Conyers- this is it! The Bento Box is a good selection for a first time visit. It comes with small portions of several different food items. Really great Asian food!

If you are looking Japanese Hibachi at a great price and with the same great quality and perfection that the other Hibachi places strive for then it will be in your interest to get to know Tokyo and i promise you that it will soon me in your favorites. not only is the food exceptional it is very much well . . .cheap the prices are fabulous and the taste does not suffer due to the price. The meal that i accustom getting is that of the Tokyo duet it includes two entrees which i always make them to be steak and chicken and then the other half of the plate is full and overflowing with rice. the rice is traditional and the steak is cooked to your idea of perfection after the soup and the salad this entire meal will have you paying about $9.00 before the tip. the waiters are very nice and very attentive. The only thing that i will say is that the place does not look very appealing from the outside and the inside is not very big. The place is so popular that any day of the week the parking lot if no fun and is always packed which will have you walking a little distance for the door but as soon as you taste the first fork full. It is needless to say that this place is a keeper and to me the best part is that their kitchen has a 100% as far as cleanliness. You will love this place and you will be coming back for sure. I know i do actually it is a little embarrassing because i go three times a week. but i love it what can i say go to Tokyo.

Ratings_icons Tokyo is the Shiznit

I saw Tokyo and I stopped there because I love Japanese food. Well let me tell you. Tokyo is so much better than Nagoya and a lot cheaper. The servers are awesome and cook really great food and tell some really funny racist jokes. They care about the people they are cooking for also. I never have to wait in line when I eat there and I go at least 4 times a week. They are Pretty Much the best and the nicest Japanese Steak House in the world

Ratings_icons A+ food and fast service!

Robin R. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,476

If you haven't discovered Tokyo Hibachi Express in Conyers, you are missing out on fabulous food! From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look like anything special and the inside is inviting enough, but the first bite of teriyaki steak will entrance you. Service is fast and efficient, and the portion sizes are mammoth (takeout boxes are provided). Prices are low, especially for the amount of food that you receive. They offer combination plates, where you can select up to three different meats or vegetables, that comes with the requisite gigantic rice serving. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and the waiter doesn't mind giving you plenty of time to make a decision. There's plenty of free parking and traffic is hardly ever a problem.

My friend first told me about this place, and we went two times a week for a few weeks. The food is great, and you get a lot for not too much money. It's a few dollars cheaper than the other Japanese restaurants around town.
