we bought a 01 grand am in 04 and it is 2011 now and it had been a great car,as long as you make your payments on time ,u won't have any problems with nice cars or any where.our problem is that they were suspose to report it on our credit and we paid 22,000 on time ,very good but they went out of business and now we don;t have it on our credit and we are tring to buy a house and really needed that on the credit, does any one know how we can put it on the credit or has anyone else had that problem cause it sounds like people want to buy a car but dont want to pay for it.nothing is free,u want to ride u have to pay.that simple.

My ex husband (husband at the time) purchased a truck from Nice Cars and they would not allow him to sign for it on his own, as his company only gave him a 1099. I thought I was going to be the co signer but they ended up putting my name first (and I couldn't even drive the truck, I can't drive a stick). Anyways, the marriage ended and I was stuck with the truck. I couldn't afford to pay for something I couldn't drive, so I called them and explained. They were nice and said all I needed to do was bring it back and everything would be taken care of. I took the truck back to them and now 5 years later I am being sued for 8400. Anyone know anything I can do to stop this.

My husband bought a truck from Nice Cars in East Ridge, TN. Navigator bought them out. When the change happened everything on his account was fine, in fact he had made extra payments when he first got the truck. Now that Navigator has taken the account over it has been crazy. For one we have given them updated phone numbers but yet they always call my mother in law. Also the send us a bill (b/c we dont live close by them at all anymore, now that they are in Atlanta) which is a good thing but when we get the bill it is dated for a month prior (ex. bill is dated 12/2/10 we got it on 1/2/2011). We got behind one time b/c my husband was laid off, now mind you we were still making some payments. Well my grand mother loaned us the money when he went back to work to get current ($500)now mind you we asked what the payoff was before we paid the late payments (b/c we were considering paying the whole thing off) and they told us $3,100. Now mind you on the bills we get all it says is his name, address, dates, and that it is a truck payment and how much it is ($138.50). If we are late it doesnt say it, if they have been trying to reach us and was unable it doesnt say that and there is a message box for these types of things.

Well Nov. came and we got another month behind (over a period of 2 months so we were making some payments). On Jan 16th they called my husband and told him that he was a little behind on his payments by $277 (which was right at that point), so he asks what the payoff is at this point and they tell him $2,100. When I found out I said wait a min. that isnt right, I got to looking thru my reciepts. The last time we asked what our payoff was, was in Sept. 9th (or some where close to that date) it was $3,100 and now 4 months later they say it is only a 1,000 less when I had proof of over $1,300 worth of payments (from credit card and debit card statements). Ok now with that being said my grandmother talked to them again on the 18th of Jan. (just 2 days after my husband was told the pay off was $2,100) and they told her that we owed them $438 and that our payoff was $2,700. Ok so how does our balance jump $161. They tried to say something about late fees well the old company never charged us late fees. So then they say another payment posted, uh well last time I done math $138.50 + $277 doesnt equal $438 even if you do add two $6 late fees (as they say). Plus how does our payoff balance jump $600 in 2 days.
I am considering contacting an attorney on this. If anyone else has had problems with them and is willing to help prove thier neglegnce please contact me at Mrs_JenniferLuttman@hotmail.com and in the subject line put nice cars or navigator. Thanks

Wow, everyones complants are because there used car broke down. I know that sucks but we have to maintain things in life. I never got one promise or even a suggestion from Nice Cars that it would run flawless for life. Nice Cars ABQ isn't in the business of selling brand new cars with a warranty, but they do offer mechanic support (you buy the part they put it on), and i think its free. WHO ELSE DOES THIS? I bought a green 1997 Chevy Tahoe a few months ago and im very happy with it. I've had to replace the shocks and get the rotors turned but thats okay 'cause its a 1997! A 14 year old tahoe is gonna have problems. They don't wheel and deal and then sell u a lie. Your free to rome the lot and the price is the price, take it or leave it. In fact, i went to buy my tahoe for the premium cost and it was on sale. The owner could have never told me, and i would have never known. The difference was 100.00 bucks a month. I had allready agreed to pay the premium price and they could have stuck me with it, but they didnt. All I have to say is when your used car shopping theres no guarantees of knowledge on hiddin problems or prior abuse from prior owners. Do your own investigating and be cautious, its a used car. I can say they're a good company with good intensions and im definitly going back. wtelles87108@yahoo.com

NICE CARS IS A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fiance' and I bought a 2006 PT from nice cars in may of 2010. It is now August the car has shut down completely. It was exatly three months when it shut down. I called like 9 times trying to speak with a manager. He was never there and he never returned my call. So, after two weeks of calling I finally got in touch with him. I told him the problem, he then said " have the car towed to the dealership, and he will have someone look at it for a small price". how is that helping me out. I think they knew the car was going to break down and since he wouldn't call me back the lemon law ran out. I am having my lawyer look into everything now. they didn't want to fix my car but the want me to make a payment every other week.
We have had a number of mechanics look at the car. They can't find anything wrong with it. So one guy said buy a starter because it could be that so we did. We paid $102 for a starter and it still isn't working. So, now the only thing that can be said is the tracking device that was put on the car two days after we bought the car has fried some wires in the firewall of the car. That is not a cheap fix. If I would have known this about this company I would have never spent my hard earn money on anything from them.
RIP OFF COMPANY. I haven't read one good review yet. When is the better business bureau going to close them down. Maybe then I will get some money back.

I would never recommend them. They are crooks. My husband and I bought a car from them in 2004, he ended up getting in a wreck. some van t-boned him. Well we had liability ( you can have that, its in their policy) because the payments were enough as it was...81/week. anyway we had it down to 2000 and then it was totalled. Nice cars tried to sue us for 5439 dollars, we had proof of them selling the car to a guy in alabama. The guy sent my husbands birth certi. which got lodged in the dash during the wreck. My husband ended up getting garnished 2,500 in the matter of 6 months. THEY ARE CROOKS. They are not christians, just the snake that lived in the apple tree in the garden of Eden.

I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid that I purchased and the air quit working as soon as I drove it off the lot. They said sorry. Now I have paid my car off back in July and they will not mail the title to me. They said I would have to come get it. I have taken 2 different days off to get the pass time box removed off of my car and they told me sorry no one was there to remove it. It has been over 1 month and I can't drive my car, which is paid off because they will not remove the box and they are also refusing to put my title in the mail. I recommend everyone calling the Better Business Bureau on them and reporting their very poor business activities. They are thieves. I asked to speak with the lot manager and Tiffany said she was the manager and there was nothing she could do.

My Husband got a Chevy Blazer from Nice Cars, he backed it out of the driveway one day and they were washers and nuts laying on the ground where he kept it parked. At the time that we got the suv he made 16 an hour, and they wanted me to cosign since it was the vehicle he wanted i said ok, well since they dont work with you and had such problems getting the piece of junk fixed, we told them to come and get it, so now they say I have a repo on my credit report. they even forged his name on some repair documents. we would have took them to court but cant afford the attorney. this is in Dalton, Ga and they have recently changed their name to Navigator, but technically they are still Nice Cars and still they same people work there, and the same junk vehicles.

The interest rate was ridiculous. The only "Nice Cars" that I know is still open, is in Marietta,Ga. I had got a car there in 2005. I paid on the car for almost 3 yrs. I got into a bind and wanted to see if thy could work with on lowering my payments. NO. Ok, well I got a full month behind on my payment and they re-po the car. The only option they gave me was to pay it off. Which was $8,000. Never would I recommend this place.

My husband bought a car from Nice Cars in 2006. When he and I were first thinking of getting married in 2007..he called Nice Cars to get a payoff. They told him they would tak$4,000.00 for the car. Well at the time we did not have $4,000.00. So we waited about 4 months and saved the money. When he called back in April of 2008, they told him the payoff was around $8,800. Now please tell me how the payoff doubled in four months! When he argued with them about it he was told they had new ownership and that if he paid in cash they would take $6,800. Well it took us like 4 or 5 months to save the first 4k. When he called and got the first payoff they told him to go to the dealership in Rome and they would also take the alarm off. Well as before when he called back they refused to take the alarm off and told him that he had been late on his payments 18 times! Hes never paid late,,,if he had the car would not have run. Now the car is barely running and we cant afford to get all the repairs done to it so what can we do? Nothing. I have read over their contract and basically the customer has not rights at all. Anyone who buys a car from Nice Cars is a fool. You are signing over all your rights on something that will definately start breaking down immediately. The cars are unsafe at best and I cannot believe someone has not shut them down already. We will never go back there again, this I can promises, and I will never refer anyone else to them

I purchase my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero in 2004. The car was a wonderful royal blue color. I looked great "ON THE OUTSIDE"...AND GREAT ON THE INSIDE"...Now under the hood was a totally different story. I started having problems with the car on the ride home from Rome, GA to Atlanta. It started raining on the way home and that's when i found out that the motor that blows air for the defrost heater and ac was not working. I drove all the way home with no defrost, barely able to see out of the windows. I called nice cars the next day, the day after that and plenty of other days after that. I was never able to speak with any one. Well a few weeks went buy and the car started making these really loud noises. I sounded almost like the car was just going to break down on me in the middle of the road. I was so scared I stopped driving it. I called nice cars and they informed me that they would have someone come and pick the car up from my apartment. That never happened. A few weeks after that i needed to go to the store and i drove the car 4 blocks from my house and it completely shut down on me. Of course i called Nice Cars that same day, and they told me to have the car towed to the nearest car shop and that they would come and pick it up with in 2 days and get back with me. Well they never came to pick the car up, and they never got back to me. I just wrote it off as a lesson learned. That was 3 years ago, today 4/25/08 i was just served papers from the Magistrate that they are sewing me for $7000, for a car they refused to fix. Not nice at all. I will get a lawyer because i am not letting them get away with it. If their is anyone else out their that would like to file a case against Nice Cars please call me 6789274656. Keisha

My husband bought a car from "NICE CARS". It was a 2001 Dodge Caravan, they refused to give him a carfax paper at first saying the system was down. They assured us that the van was good and they would have the info in the next few days. 3 weeks later, we got the report after having called up there several times. Come to find out the van was in a head on collision. We have had to replace the transmission. They called me with a pay off now they refuse to let me get it at the pay off they wanted, instead they want double the amount. They call and harass me and others that were put on the info sheet when it was purchased. I have never been so displeased with a company in all my life. I would NEVER buy another car from them. NOR, would I EVER tell anyone to get their car there. GOOD CARS FOR GOOD PEOPLE. PLEASE!

My husband bought a car from "NICE CARS". It was a 2001 Dodge Caravan, they refused to give him a carfax paper at first saying the system was down. They assured us that the van was good and they would have the info in the next few days. 3 weeks later, we got the report after having called up there several times. I recently got a truck from nice cars in 2007.At first they were nice but once i got the vehicle and inspected it there was rust damage all over the vechicle, no owners manual and i had the replace all four tires which cost me $400..Since they have changed ownership I have been harassed every week by their collections dept. They are rude and make nothing but empty threats just so they will get their payment, they will stop at nothing to get their payment. Not to mention the passtime system they use in their cars has shorted out my system and as i type this it is sitting in a mechanics shop getting worked on and it will be coming out of my pocket not theirs.I recommend that no one get a car from nice cars, I just want to save other people from the same headache that I am going through.NICE CARS IS NO GOOD!!!!

I bought a piece of junk saturn from nice cars in 2003. The night I went to get the car and drive it home it broke down. I called nice cars the next morning and they retrieved the car. Nice cars advertised that you have 24 hours to change your mind on the car you bought in exchange for another one. When they called me the next day I expressed to them that I didn't want the car. It broke down and I would like to exchange it. THEY REFUSED. Well for several days I refused to go and get the car. After about 4 days of them calling and threating to put the entire balance on my credit I felt I had no choice but to go get the car. The car was horrible. It ran awful and jeopordized my life and my children. And like everyone else I got stranded with the payment alarm system that was on it. I decided that I could not continue to drive this awful and put my life at stake. The car was returned to them. Now like some other people they have come back and put $4000 on my credit that I don't feel I owe them. The car was not worth $10.00 NEVER EVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM NICE CARS!!! I bought a vehicle from them in 2001, I had the car 2 months, The wiring harness caught fire, They got a repair shop to fix it, and of course they put it on my bill. After that the air would not work, and had other problems with the vehicle. It was a 1998 Chevy Blazer. I paid $12.000 dollars for the vehicle, or was suppose to after interest it came to almost $20.000 dollars, I did not see any since in paying that much for a vehicle that would not run right. I could not afford to have it fixed and they refused to. They told me it was my problem. I had the car 4 months and took it back. It is now 2007, and they are sueing me for $13.000 dollars. They waited 5 years to do this, I called and asked what they got for the car, and they said they got $8.000 dollars at an auction. Ok why am I being sued for $12.000 dollars. They ripped so many people off and try to tell everyone they were a christian company, things caught up with them, and now they are trying to take it out on us. The car came from Fortoglethorpe Nice Cars.Ron GoolsbyChattanooga Tennessee

I have never had such a bad experience. I reported them to the BBB in Chattanooga TN where the Co is based and I went back later to check it out and they are no longer members or the BBB because of their crappy business practices.. that should be a big red flag for anyone thinking about buying a car from them. The only good thing about them is that anyone with a job can get a car if the need it even if they have bad credit but you have to pay over 30% for this and that should be a crime to take advantage of disadvantaged people like that!!

Has really great Cars, and great prices, this is so cool.

They really make it affordable for everyone, then you have the ability to choose what you want, and not be pressed to get what you can even use or not happy with.

You can make payments with easy access of having drive through available for payments, or you can mail, anytime.

So if you work, you ride

So this is why I think Nice Cars are fabulous.

My husband and I needed a 2nd car. We heard about the Nice Cars dealership and drove from Peachtree City to Rome one Saturday morning. If you are are in need of a vehicle, and you have not so good credit and NO DOWN PAYMENT-it is worth the drive. I know now that Nice Cars has a dealership in Marietta, but our drive was WELL worth it. Make sure that you check their website and have all your paperwork on hand. I think they offer a larger referral fee when a car is purchased around Christmas. Nice Cars is a life and a job saver!!!

PROS: no down payment & not so good credit-is TRULY not a problem
CONS: long wait-so arrive early

I wrote a 1st great review of this company , yes I sang their praises . I was buying a car , a drunk driver hit me & my kids - totaled my car . Nice Cars employee after employee told me buy another car from us and what the insurance doesn't pay we will forgive and YES they did , well for about a year they did then they sold it to a "collection agency " which is now putting it on my credit and taking me to court for close to full amount even though they got paid $5000 from insurance co. and all my payments before wreck . All 1 employee could say that I was taking it personally , very dumb way to handle their mistake , in-fact 1 of their own employees has said it was wrong every way . They said we will not pursue you for remainder and did not BUT YET sold it to someone who is , uh that is pursuing it .
