You might be cautious based on how the place looks, but this is one of the best BBQ spots in Atlanta. They don't care about decor, they just concentrate on the food. Do NOT leave without trying the que wraps. It is like a BBQ egg roll.

Daddy Dz is a wonderful bar-b-q house. The atmospher is very unique...no frills. It's that kind of well-kept secret. The cornbread, broccoli casserole, and bar-b-q are all wonderful.

The food here is great but the surroundings are little terrifying. I would not suggest going here at night, you would not be able to enjoy your food for trying to see if the components to your care as well as your car are still there.

The BBQ is here is wonderful just don't let the scary location deter you from this place. It's not as bad when you go with a few men. Make sure to try the the rib platter - you will not be disppointed. Last time my husband I went there was a great blues band playing but from my understanding they only play Friday's & Saturday's - try and get there on the weekend.
