DVC is the best around. They care about the animals more than any vet I have ever known. To the thyroid lady who doesn't go to her endocrinologist every three months, get a life. What doctor would prescribe any meds over three months without being able to monitor the paitent? He probably figured you were to incompatent to administer them correctly if you were arguing about 20 cents. I am sure the bill was dropped to his cost just to apease and get ride of a nagging customer. If you and your pet have "the same medical issues", maybe you need to your dog with you to your doctor and get an extra prescription for him/her while you are there. Even if I did not know how good this vet was, I would still see that a person comparing her visits to a doctor to those of her dog is a fruit loop. You can tell the doctor if some thing is going wrong with your medication or treatment but your dog can't, hence the 3 month supply...You don't think your dog can talk do you??? Maybe you need to switch your doctor to a "specialist".

I like this vet- they are always nice and helpful and honest. I have never had any problems at all. I have taken cats and dogs and never had an issue. The bills are always reasonable.

Forget using this Vet!

I took my dog in for a thyroid check and was told my bill was over $80.00. I asked why, sure enough, added a chemistry profile as well. I refused to pay for that test, bill dropped to $48.00. They charge over 20 cents for thyroid meds, PetMeds is 9 cents for same thing, 0.04. Tried to order 6 mos supply from Petmeds, Vet never responded to PetMeds request for the prescription, they had to call his office. I never was called with the test results as I was told I would either. Vet only approved 3 mos. supply. I have the same medical issue. I don't see my Endocrinologists every 3 mos.

If they can't get it from you one way, they'll find another.I will NEVER take my pet there again. My friends won't either!

Top notch veterinary services the average person can afford make Dennis Vet the best in town, by far. Once I found this clinic, I stopped jumping around testing the local vets in my new hometown. The fair prices and consistently caring service made the decision easy.

In addition to being exceptionally knowledgeable, Dr. Dennis is genuine and down to earth, calm and caring. He asks questions and really listens, and he takes the time to talk to you and explain the benefits of various options and procedures as well as the cost involved. Dr. D approaches people and animals alike with gentleness and competent compassion, instilling confidence and making all involved as comfortable as a clinical situation allows.

His professional staff is friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. The office and exam areas are roomy, tasteful and clean but not extravagant. He clearly cares more about the animals than the furniture, something I noticed immediately and fully appreciate.

Dennis Veterinary Clinic is exactly the type of service most pet owners seek a no frills operation - just affordable, first-rate medical care for animals delivered competently with honesty and integrity. I recommend Dr. Dennis to anyone who loves animals and wants a vet that does too.
