My daughter attended Gingerbread House until I moved an hour away. I never once had a problem with this facility! My daughter loved it there! She also loved the staff who were her "Friends" as she called them :) Other than the snotty nose she carried while she was there (which is highly common in childcare facilities), she was always clean, never hurt, and never cried when I left her there. They didn't watch TV constantly, only once, maybe twice a day. If you are considering this daycare as your own, simply go by and check it out, and see for yourself :)

Pros: Great Staff, Nice large rooms, safe play area

Cons: lots of snotty children :)

Thought I would give this center another chance, but it proves to hold as my first opinion. First off the in older infant room they have a table with chairs inside the table. It horrified me to see one rather large child in that seat looking bored out of his mind. Mind you he was not eating or playing they just had him in there sitting. The gated area had no toys whatsoever, and the children were running around with half their clothes off. I was horrified...that's the best word to describe it. In one of the older rooms as I was touring a child decided to scale the shelf, and it about toppled over on him! The toys, I noticed, were very old with no working batteries and in very poor condition. Half the children had snot hanging out of their noses. The kids were playing in the sink where they were tons of sippy cups laying in them. The children were grabbing the cups and sipping out of them! I, again, was horrified. The teacher was very nice, but the children were so bored they were throwing and hitting. None of the toys were in good, working order. The outside play area had barely any equipment for the little guys. I was clearly not impressed. I would advise not enrolling your child here there are plenty of other daycare centers in better condition. I admit the center has potential, but no one is giving it the tender loving care it needs. Oh and I would also like to add the teacher was rewarding kids with food and with holding food from the kids who did not clean up! This is not right! I always thought it was against state rules to with hold food from a child. There are plenty of other ways to reward a child for cleaning/good behavior such as praise/stickers. I was not impressed.
