Ray's On The River

I went there for a business meeting and had the Mahi Mahi over dirty rice. It was fresh and perfectly grilled. The restaurant overlooks the Chattahoochee River and has a friendly atmosphere. The service was good. The prices are above average but worth it. This is a great place for a casual lunch or a nice evening date.

PROS: Close to everything
CONS: Pricey

I was enjoying my meal with my wife. When a large gentlemen almost falls on our table. Knocking over our wine glasses. He had a very strong smell of alcohol and blood shot eyes. He tells us in a slured speach that he was the owner and would pick up the bill.
then the manager "bryon" comes over later and says he doesn't know anything about the matter.

BAD MANAGEMENT!!!

After making a reservation on the website for Sunday brunch for a celebration for my son visiting from Dallas, we arrived at the appointed hour--only to be told that no t-shirts were allowed and we were not admitted (my son had on a t-shirt and bermudas). There is NOTHING on the website that indicates this. It will be a LONG time before I return to Ray's. The smart thing to do would have been to make an exception since we had done our homework, made a reservation and had a visiting guest. Too bad--it has always been a favorite of mine...and I come from a long line of retaurant owners.

My wife,kids and I went there for an early dinner. Not too much people in the restaurant. The view is astonishing- nice Chattahoochee River view with a great walk after dinner along the river. Although the site-location and view were great the food was not matched. Basically I was expecting the food to be of the quality of the view for the price. Why not?-
