This place is run by crazy people! Not only do they deliver the wrong order, but demand it back to bring it to the right customer after we had tried the food! Had to get the police involved because the delivery guy refused to leave!!!

I have never eaten at this place nor do I intend to. They constantly place flyers in our doors. by doing so, they are ignoring a sign in front of our complex that states No soliciting, no canvassing, no trespassing. I have called numerous

This is absolutely the WORST Chinese food I have ever ordered. I am not picky when it comes to American Chinese food. I know Chinese food, as my wife is from China and we eat Chinese food 95% of the time (usually not American style, but a lot of the time) .
I ordered pan fried noodles, braised tofu and kung pao chicken to go. All three dishes looked and tasted like they use some pre-made sauce in a bottle and nothing else. The kung pao did not even taste like kung pao. Very little meat in the dishes and mostly vegetable. It tasted so bad, that we threw it all out. Even my children would not touch it and they are not picky in the least!
There is NO WAY this place was voted best Chinese food in Atlanta 9 years in a row as they advertise, NO WAY, PERIOD!!!!
Reading some of the comments on here that say this place is great, they all sound like they were written by the owners or staff.

We ordered delivery. When we sat down to eat, the sauce for the egg foo young tasted like soy sauce, water & cornstarch! It was horrible and inedible. The sesame chicken, mongolian beef & the beef and broccoli tasted funny. The only decent items were the sweet & sour chicken (not the sauce, it tasted weird) and the chicken lo mein. If you're looking for good Chinese food, find another restaurant or at least go to this restaurant on a day when they have a different cook. The first time we ate there the food was decent, but this time, I don't know what happened, I just know we won't be going back for another try! They were willing to give us a credit, but as I said, we're not interested in trying it again. However, our garbage disposal seemed to love it!!

I also am very confused about the other reviews i read. Chin Chin is one of my family's all time favorite restaurants. The staff is very kind and we are always trying new suggestions made by the servers: Absolutely delicious!!! The delivery is usually delivered in a reasonable time even when it is busy because the ladies who take the togo orders on the phone always give you a time estimate and tell you if it is busy or not, very considerate :)

I'm surprised at these comments. We order at least 3 times a month. House Lo Mein is best in Atlanta. Have always received what we ordered in a reasonable amount of time. Am very happy with this restaurant. A LOT of food for the money

I live in Marietta and have been ordering delivery from Chin Chin Johnson's Ferry for at least 5 years. Eighty percent of that time it was very good. This past year it has been disgusting. We called them and told them once when we had ordered twice in one week (home project going on) and it was very good on a Friday but then awful during the next week. Obviously two different chefs, one of which couldn't cook.
We couldn't eat a meal recently because it was way too salty and crap quality-
They came and picked it up and said they would comp us. Tonight we took advantage of the comp and it was obvious that we received today's leftovers for the Poo platter, and the rest of the meal was simply gross. I mean tasteless paste and cardboard fried pork pieces. Sorry Chin Chin you have lost a good long time customer and we will tell others to stay clear of you.
Pathetic.

The food is very typical tasting especially for the price tag which seems high even for this location of restaurant. The service average, neither overly good or bad in any way. The selection almost looks like a copy of every American-Chinese food in Atlanta. I have to comment on the other reviews which I think were off the mark trying to say this is soooo bad. This is a good experience with good food, just not the best in Atlanta. One great thing is they deliver which is probably why the food is so bland. If you have two hungry people you'll pay $25.

Delivery very questionable. Found a finger from a rubber glove in one dish. Wasn't what I ordered. It looked like it would be tough to chew and seemed like it would be pretty tasteless even with the gunky sauce. Manager showed no concern. Won't be ordering again.

Food very bland...probably the least memorable Chinese food I have ever had...food in the malls is better.

Needs more spice or something. Just seems kind of gummy.

Was very unsatisfied due the the rude staff. We were rushed throughout our entire lunch and the restaurant was less than 1/4 full. Our server interupted our conversation to insist we pay the bill 3 minutes after he brought our order. After we paid we stayed a total of 26 minutes thereafter, they walked past the table huffing but did not offer to refill drinks.

PROS: Food is good, good prices
CONS: service is terrible

I don't know why they are called "The Best in Atlanta." I couldn't be paid to return.

We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein, and Eggplant in Black Bean Sauce. None of these was worth my time or tastebuds. The chicken was drenched in a sticky, bland sauce that had the texture of Elmer's Paste. It wasn't spicy at all, and Kung Pao is supposed to have a bite. The Lo Mein was downright disgusting and was served greasy. It was like eating oily twine. The Eggplant was the best thing on the menu, and wasn't over cooked, but was lacking in taste. Again, the sauce was clear and gooey, kind of like a mixture of paste and honey. Overall, the food was so bad that my friend's dog refused to eat it.

I wouldn't come back here if my life depended on it. Even Chinese fastfood like Panda Express far eclipses this sorry excuse for a restaraunt. The only pang of conscience I experienced with writing this scathing review was regarding the really rather sweet waitstaff. The people who run the place are friendly and wonderful, but wow, did they miss the mark here.

PROS: Service with a smile
CONS: What taste? It's the Taco Bell of Chinese food.
