I visited this salon and had my nails done with Kim. Avoid this salon at all cost! Why the owner keeps a nail girl that is a drug addict is beyond me. The hair stylist (very overweight red hair) was frowning, very abrupt and nasty. Whoever owns this salon needs to get rid of the riff raff employees.

I was used to Atlanta salons (not high-end, but experienced with color) , but I was a recent transplant here to the Blairsville area, so I decided to try this salon after a relative recommended this salon (it was the only one she could think of). I told the receptionist on the phone and stylist (in person) that I needed color, highlights and a cut. I left only with the extreme blonde highlights on my brown hair with gray roots and trim. My hair is very thick (relatively straight), and I am getting gray coarse hair as I get older, so as a result, my hair needs to be blown dry with a straightening brush -- something every hair stylist I've been to has picked up on, but not this stylist, I had fizzy hair that was scrunched together then hairsprayed (I have no curl, so I'm not sure why the scrunching). My new "look" was blonde highlights over my gray roots and former color, and a trim but no cut. The stylist seem to enjoy talking more than listening. Insult to injury, it was more than I payed a more competent stylist in Atlanta. I cannot speak for all of the stylists there, but my stylist, Stacy, was friendly, but really needed to focus. I don't usually complain, but I am not afraid to. I also know most stylists will correct something you are not happy with. However in this case, I don't think it would have helped. If I could have caught it earlier I would have, but a lot of stylists will do hightlights and color at the same time (separated by foil) and I thought this was what she was doing. In any case I was expecting a professional (an according to the receptionist, she was) One last thing, I can tell you there was no complementary neck, scalp or other massage as stated by another reviewer (possibly done by some stylists, but perhaps not as a rule), but this was not expected by me during the visit.
