These ladies were great to work with. I needed a last minute flower girl dress in a certain style. They helped me to find one that was in stock and shipped it in plenty of time for the wedding. Thank you for great service!

I went to Bella Mia with my daughter to shop for a wedding dress - ordered a dress, shoes, and eventually a veil. In a ten month period, the dress has come back two times too short, once it was SIX INCHES TOO SHORT. The shoes my daughter wanted in the shop were scuffed, so an order was placed so she would have brand new shoes for her wedding. When we picked up the "specially ordered shoes and got them home and looked at them, they were the original scuffed ones we had held in our hands the day we placed the order! Took them back and received a "store credit." The "fingertip length"veil we ordered came back long enough to drag the ground - returned it to be altered. The last visit to Bella Mia was four and one half months before my daughter's wedding date - you guessed it! THE DRESS WAS TOO SHORT! The owner was insistent that we give her one week to get a new dress. She also denied knowing anything about the problem with the veil. After going in the back and returning, she suddenly "remembered" the veil had been altered by her and was at "her house!" We told her we were down to four and a half months and could not risk any more time or money waiting on this shop to get our order right. She flatly refused to give us any kind of a refund and insisted she could "MAIL" the dress to our post office box! What kind of business owner would "mail" something as special as a wedding dress? By now, the dress that once looked so beautiful to us only makes my daughter feel sick when she even thinks about it. Looking for a wedding dress with your daughter should be a memorable experience, not one you wish you could forget! Please save yourself some time, stress, and money and shop elsewhere for your wedding needs!

Pros: In Savannah

Cons: Products misrepresented, Poor customer service, Questions regarding orders not answered honestly or timely, No interest in customer satisfaction

Ok so where do I begin? I'll list SOME of the problems:
-I ordered my dress in March, it didn't arrive until June and it was 6 inches too short.
-I ordered my veil fingertip length, and the lady told me it came in fingertip length. I picked it up and it was 8 feet long..I'm only 5'3
-I bought shoes, I got them outside and noticed a couple little places on them so I took them back in. They told me they would order me NEW ones. When I went to pick them up, they gave me the same pair of shoes.
-They told me my dress would be back in September. I called once to see what date it would arrive, they said they would call me back. Two weeks later I had to call them back and they told me the same thing. So my Mother finally called and they told her it would not arrive until January.
-Today we went to pick up the dress a second time, you could see all of my feet
-We asked for a refund and we were first led to believe she may give us one. Then she went upstairs and measured the dress and came back down...she fought both me and my Mother who live in NC. We drove 6 hours to get there. She basically told us that we were wrong. She even got on the phone with my Dad who is a successful business owner and able to retire before 50. He told her that the customer is always right...her reply was no the customer is NOT always right. She got in my face and my mothers face yelling and refused. Then she followed us out to our car yelling at us and wouldn't move so we could leave. THEN she called my CELL PHONE and left an EXTREMELY rude voicemail.
My experience at Bella Mia was terrible. I would rather be shot in the face than ever set foot back in there again and see that evil woman. So PLEASE save yourself 10 months of stress and go somewhere else! The only good thing about this shop was a sweet girl named Tory who always was very polite and helpful. My wedding is June 1, 2009 by the way..and to think, I bought my dress 15 months in advance so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Pros: Tory (One of the workers) and some of the other girls who worked there

Cons: Owner=Evil, Dress was short twice, Veil was too long, lied to a bunch!

My best friend chose this shop to buy her wedding dress and our bridesmaid dresses. After buying her wedding dress, she found a small spot on it - imperceptible to anyone but her, but still not what you would expect when paying for an expensive gown for such an important day.

When all of the bridesmaids (many from out of town) had gone to the store to be measured for their bridesmaid dresses, Bella Mia completed dropped the ball by neglecting to ordering them for several months. This is because they misplaced a bridesmaid's order form and as a consequence erroneously informed the bride that not all of the bridesmaids had ordered a dress. (Bella Mia will only order bridesmaid dresses when *everyone* has been measured.) As a result, the dresses were not ready until a few weeks before the wedding.

A few weeks may seem like plenty of time, but when you have been promised dresses to be ready months in advance and you have bridal party members from out of town, it is a huge hassle. For example, when I picked up my dress, I noticed that it was two sizes too big from what I had ordered. I asked the employees to check to make sure I was given the correct dress, and they replied that I had put down my normal size but that they had bumped me up two sizes due to the measurements they took. When I put the dress on, it swallowed me. Now, I'm stuck with finding a place to do alterations myself, because I certainly don't trust this store with the dress - not to mention that they will CHARGE me to take the dress in to the original size I ordered!

Please, don't take the chance of ruining any special occasions by using this store.

The night before my daughters wedding we arrived to pick up her wedding gown. The dress upon inspection was badly stained. When we spoke with the owner who had taken the dress off the premise to have it cleaned without asking us. It was only there to be pressed. The dress was destroyed. The heartbreak we felt was awful. She denied that she caused the damage and blamed it on her dry cleaner. Yet when we called the dry

cleaner he said the owner claimed she caused the damages while attempting to steam press it. ( I believe him) She would not give us her insurance company and would not make it right with us . What kind of bridal shoppe owner is this cold, not to mention rude. We missed the rehersal dinner because we were waiting for her to bring the dress to us. While trying to figure out what to do about a wedding gown that couldnt be worn. One hour and a half late she finally showed. She never called to inform us there had been a problem with the dress, when she arrived it was 6:30pm on a friday-the wedding was Saturday at 5 pm. Needless to say it wasnt the bride from hell, it was the bridal shoppe owner from hell! I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND putting your gown in her hands. This day is far to important a day to rely on Bella Mia of Savannah-She claimed her daughter wore a wedding dress with a coffee stain on it. What kind of Bridal shoppe OWNER would allow her daughter to wear a dress with a stain on it-and she owns the store?>> Not to picky is she for the owner. Bottom line is it is all about the
dress for the bride. Its her day. Needless to say my daughter looked beautiful despite what happened the day before her wedding. I am still angry , disappointment and most of all enraged at the owners total lack of responsibly. Ask you self if your willing to take the chance on such an important event in your life?
