Great Eyecare!

The new office is beautiful! It was very warm and inviting, unlike all those chain stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially with my insurance. The doctor was very through and explained everything. They have all the technology, even more then I have ever seen before. Over all they were terrific! I highly recommend them!

I can't imagine the other comments. I have been to both locations (Bridgemill and Holcomb Bridge Rd) and they could not have been more helpful or friendly.

Very rude staff. Actually charged us $25 to teach my son how to put in his contacts. I have never heard of such a thing. They would not release the Rx to us so we could find more competitively priced contacts. We will never recommend this practice to anyone.

Very very rude, especialy one young lady who fitted you for glasses. I would not recomened anyone to them, If your insurance is sub par look out they treat you like a 3rd class citizen

Used them when we lived in Woodstock. The office is beautiful and I found the staff friendly. We saw Dr. Furey a few times and Dr. Wolfe another. They were both professional.

Good exam, poor follow throught

The bottom line is the eye exam was thorough, they did not disclose that they were charging our medical insurance nor that this was anything more than a standard eye exam, and sent us away with no Rx for glasses which I know that I need. I am not blind by any means but need glasses for an astigmatism, which causes my headaches. The secretary was also very unfriendly and we felt very uncomfortable in the waiting room.
My wife and I decided to use a local non chain facility for our yearly checkup. This eyecare provider was listed by our vision service plan as participating so I called to make an appointment. They informed me of the benefits of our service plan so I made the appointment. We filled out questionares about our health history, a fairly standard thing these days, and started our eye exams. The exams were very thorough, not the usual look at the eye chart and here is your prescription. I commented to the Dr that I was impressed at the thoroughness, not what you get at most chain eye care.
As I left the exam and went to check out at the desk the secretary informs me that the charge was three times what we had discussed on the phone when I made the appointments, the reason was because they were submitting it to my medical insurer and not the vision plan. Her explanation was because I had marked on the health history that I have had headaches, the Dr did more tests based on the information I provided. I then asked if I could have the prescriptions and was told the Dr did not think they were needed because the Rx's were not very strong. At this point I am pretty upset and decided to leave and speak with my wife to see what she had discussed with this office.

On the plus side they have lots of designer glasses which I wanted to purchase, however I will try another eyecare Dr, hopefully with better results.

Furey Eye Care made me FURIOUS

The staff was very rude, particularly one member, and degrading, which made the entire experience terrible. They do not have the customers interest in mind. They only want to make a profit. They are not customer friendly. I would not refer this clinic to anyone.

They are also known as Bridgemill Eye Care. The doctor is very professional and is great at explaining exactly everything. The front office staff is very kind and courteous.
