I've purchased several guitars from maplestreet, a Goodall jumbo, a Taylor 12 string and a dobro and had my instruments setup there. I have always found my experience to be "first rate." And the staff and management are all people you would like to have a beer with. I highly recommend Maple Street to everyone.

I was very unhappy with my experience last year. However, time has mellowed my opinion. The job they did I was unsatisfied with on a Martin pickguard has been corrected. Very simply I might add. By my dad, who is a Martin expert, I should also add. He wasn't as critical as I was. They were also very friendly and helpful with my son who is looking to buy another guitar to complement his D-28. Hopefully this positive review will balance out the negative review I wrote last year. Fair is fair. Thanks.

I purchased a Cervantes Hauser concert classical guitar. The owner worked with me to set my guitar up several times no cost. The staff are informed, friendly and kind. I was very impressed with the care they take with all the guitars in the shop. It is a very professional environment and at the same time make you feel right at home. A salesperson said to me as I was playing several guitars in various practice rooms "picking out a guitar is an emotional decision". Looking for a fine guitar at the right price with genuine service, then go check out Maple Street Guitars. I absolutely love my guitar my 83 year old mother told me to call her "juliet, as she sounds so romantic"!

I took a 1967 Martin 0018 in to have the pickguard replaced. A wonderful guitar that I've played all my life. They assured me they were as good as the factory at this simple repair and would care for my guitar as if it was their personal instrument. They screwed up and did not cut the new pickguard to the proper shape so it would completely overlap the seam of the old pickguard. When I complained to them about this, all they could tell me was how great their luthier was. There's a 4 letter word for that nonsense...

Years ago I went here on a recommendation from a friend. I perused the wide selection of Taylors and was hesitant at the prices. The salesperson showed me a higher-end used Taylor that they were selling at almost half-price, and I got to sit in a practice room and test it out for a long while undisturbed. I walked out of there with the best guitar I've ever owned at a really reasonable price. They take really good care of their guitars there, and I would totally recommend this place if you're in the market for a Taylor.

Maple Street is a great place to see some really nice Martins and Taylors for acoustic and Fenders for electrics. They are knowledgeable and clearly love guitars. Be careful what you lick up though becasue some of these guitars are wonderful and very expensive e.g. $5,000. It is worth the stop in town to see the selection.
