We went to this church this past Sunday morning. We are currently looking for a church in our area to visit. We normally go to a church in Atlanta but the drive is so far and with gas prices so high, we would like to find a more covenant place to worship and fellowship with other Christians.
The only thing that was good about this church was the sermon. Other than that, it pretty much was a horrible experience. No one reached out to welcome us. Everyone seemed cold and looked at us funny. The man that sat a seat down from us grabbed his bulletin when we sat down and gave us a "how dare you sit down near me look." The music was okay. I do like modern Christian music; however they didn't seem to include or encourage the crowd to sing along. A woman was rudely talking loud through the entire music performance behind us so we could barely hear what was being sung. We thought that maybe we should give this church one more chance but I don't know. It was a pretty bad experience.

We have attended Hope Church for about 11 years. I love the worship service and their music is amazing. They have a childrens nursery and also age appropriate classes for Pre-K through High School while the worship service is going on.

Hope Church began in 1997 and strives to reach the unchurched of the region. The services are very casual and contemporary. You will never know what you will experience from week to week. It could be a very serious service or it could be the pastor dressing up like Superman! The messages are very down to earth and life applicable. The children's program on Sunday morning runs at the same time as the adult program. It's called God's Gallery and gives the children their own small group and worship experience. The youth have their own service on Wednesday evenings called Deep Impact. The dynamic youth pastor, Michael Creighton gives the kids very relevant and fun experiences. No church is more Mission minded than Hope. They give back over and over to the local community.

PROS: Relevant messages, great contemporary music, fun atmosphere, love felt
CONS: Staff run, not lay run. Inflexible with many ideas.
