5 Stars: Organic & Natural foods (by Suzy W.)

Sevananda is a market full of organic and natural foods. It also happens to be in the middle of L5P and is a huge consumer owned cooperative which has been around for over 25 years. If you go definitely try the food from the kitchen. They serve the best salads. Another great thing about this place is that they hold regular cooking classes which have helped my daughter adjust to her new Vegan lifestyle.

4 Stars: Great Co-op (by Tahereh P.)

Sevananda is a quaint organic/health foods store located in Little Five Points. The store fits in quite well with the Little Five Points Community and offers a variety of organic produce and foods. It is a little bit small though so there is not as much variety as you may find in other health food stores but the prices are great for organic foods and the service is wonderful.

4 Stars: Great Teas (by Shanda D.)

I like to try and make my own tea blends and purchasing them from local grocery stores can be expensive! At Sevananda I can go tea crazy! I purchased some raspberry tea and it was delicious and inexpensive!

5 Stars: Fabulous selection, friendly & helpful people, reasonable prices (by Robin R.)

In the battle to eat organic, Sevananda stands out as a great intown organic grocery with reasonable prices that don't leave you dipping into your kid's college fund. It's easily accessible and carries a great variety of organic products as well as being cooperatively-owned. Shoppers are encouraged to become member-investors (which also gets you a 10% discount on the tenth of every month). The coop also holds classes on various subjects from yoga to cooking, taught by knowledgeable people. It's a friendly place to shop, plus you're eating healthy - what's not to love?
