Good job! Peg Tuten is helpful and patient during the ordering process. The driver for this delivery was courteous and willing to listen and follow my lead when putting items in the freezer. I greatly appreciated this. It makes finding items so much easier. The only thing Ive learned is that the meat will be ready for delivery before Ive been told when to order it.

He also was very professional and made sure I received everything I ordered. He explained how the meats and veggies were stored in my freezer. Online products/menu are not up to date. Online printable menu also not up to date. "Squash" needs to be labeled as yellow squash b/c squash can also be acomor butternut.
-Only lunch meat offered is ham-full of sodium- offering sliced turkey would be great as an option.

When I run out (my choice) and I have to buy meats at Walmart, it only makes me appreciate "All" you guys! The quality of the foods can be compared to the wonderful employees I deal with-GREAT!!!

This service is a rip off. Portions are small. For a family of four with two teenage children I had to use 2 and sometimes 3 packages of vegetables to have enough for one meal. We owned our own freezer but were forced to purchase a service contract to get their food service. We advised the salesman (only working for co. for 30 days) that we were going to try it out ONLY. The food delivered did not last us 6 months, they had to deliver more two different times. We refused to reorder after 6 months and now they are trying to collect $2,770.80. They say that is the balance of the service contract on the freezer we already OWNED. STAY AWAY....spend your money at a local grocery store or meat market.

"All natural" you can never trust them words, there is always something hidden behind those words "all natural" food ....Don't trust these people. Salesman refused to answer any questions about cost per pound,plus cost per unit.. He couldn't even tell me exactly where the food was coming from. All he said was that it comes from many farms but couldn't give me the names of these farms..Also in order to go further on exactly what food i was getting, I had to fill out papers and sign up because he didn't want to waste his time going further if i wasn't committed. All they want is your signature .Once you sign thats it. you're locked in..To be honest, i think the company is all about their freezer and not there food. The man said himself that if i don't buy the freezer that the food would end up costing more.In order to get this food at the same price as whats on the market you have to get the freezer which seems like a good price at first but you have to think long term you'll be paying about $5000 for about 4-5 yrs. I mean if I knew I was going to use this service that long then yes maybe its a good deal,but signing up and not having all the info is something I just can't do.
Aside from all this my salesman was nice at first but when i said i wanted to think about it be became very pushy and rude. Also I really would like to know exactly where the food is coming from.So i called customer service and guess what,they couldn't even tell me what the name of the companies the food was coming from.. I asked them, then how do you know the food is safe and he said because that's what i been told. Really? I honestly believe that they are selling the same meat that Walmart and other chains sell.

The food is very expensive and not as healthy as you think. They will give you the quantity of food that will last 3 meals a day for 26 weeks but the dollar per lb doesn't add up. You will be paying $30 for 1lb of ground beef. Its a rip off and I would not go with them. They only care about the freezer and you can't opt out of that. Once you sign up with them you are stuck with the freeze even if you cancel the food service. They give you a $400 freezer and you will end up paying $5000 at the end.

Great service! Steven Terry delivered our order and packed our meat. He always places the older pieces (from a previous order) together, so we know what is old and what is new! Peggy Tutten takes our order by phone and always has great suggestions!

Delivery guys were very professional, courteous and helpful. We received bulk ground beef instead of patties and Peg was quick to fix the error. We were told there were 4 red snapper filets and there were only 3. overall, we were very happy.

the food is excellent. i started the service about a year ago and was hesitant at the beginning. being single i thought i may not be able to consume enough food to make it beneficial. not the case at all. each time i place an order, i order more than the time before. i have not bought a piece of meat from a store in over a year. the quality is unbeatable and the convenience is to die for. the rep. whom came to my house, leslie huff, was not only a hoot but very very knowledgable about the the products, the company and the order process. i am a lifelong customer.

We have had the same delivery man for several visit & he is great. He is very nice & helpful in letting us know of new items to try. We don't change our order often so it is nice to get some new ideas. We also appreciate the fact that our rep. Josh does not constantly annoy us with calls. I have been a customer for almost six years now and love it! The food is awesome (better than some fine restaurants I've been to) and knowing that it's free of bacteria and chemicals is priceless. I LOVE having a freezer full of anything I might feel like eating; after reading some of these bad "freezer scam" reviews, I've decided that those people just don't get it! I am given a significant discount off every order I place which pays for the freezer and coverage if I lose food, so it's a wash financially. If you knew what is in the meat that the grocery store sells (and if you care) you would never shop at one. Anything I have ever not liked has been replaced with no questions asked. In a day and age of less customer service, it's a pleasure to do business with this company.

I had to comment after reading a couple of the reviews. I am getting ready for my first reorder because I love the convenience of having a meat dept in my basement. I laughed at the porsche comment. If this is porsche, then they are in trouble. The idea that it is only for people with gourmet tastes and lots of money is ridiculous. If you look at what it costs to buy meat and vegetables at a grocery store, it really isn't that much more expensive, not to mention the driving, parking, checking out, etc. If you don't eat a hunk of meat designed for a college linebacker, you will find it affordable. Cut back on the quantity which is not needed people! The filet mignon is good quality and I love the chicken. They have less expensive cuts of beef that were fine as long as they were marinated for at least 8 hours, preferrably 24 The veggies don't knock me out as I prefer fresh but I still keep them stocked for convenience. Their hamburger meat was really fatty but then I ordered the regular which I won't do again. Costco has an organic grainfed lower fat ground beef which is quite competitive, so I am not sure I will go back for their higher quality hamburger. I agree that their sales tactics are obnoxious and we laughed at the idea of paying 5 grand for a freezer which they were trying to shove down our throats as if it were some amazing deal. We went out and bought our own. The $70. insurance per month is a bit ridiculous for the unlikely events that they cover, but like someone says, this is for long term customers benefits and that's how they keep you locked in. I would check my homeowners insurance to see what would be covered. I am rating them satisfactory because of those things. If I find chicken as good as theirs nearby, I would easily leave. Food, good, sales tactics, horrible. Please be aware.

Have been a patron for about 15 years. Yes, they are very expensive, but they offer the very best restaurant-quality five-star prime cuts of meat, just like eating Omaha Steaks every day. My purchases concentrate on the meats and none of the other grocery items.

Years ago, when I began subscribing, they were supplying the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Atlanta. This food service is definitely not for the ordinary "joe & jane" who have to worry about pinching pennies. Those folks need to buy budget ground beef or shop in the reduced-for-quick sale section of the grocery, if that is an issue.

Yes, I was initially skeptical when I bought the commercial freezer, but when it finally died, 14 years later, all of the contents were replaced for free. It was replaced with a more energy-efficient unit purchased from a local store, and Blue Ribbon still delivers my orders. If you are concerned about the comments in regard to buying the freezer, then buy one before contacting them. It needs to go in the laundry room, basement, or other inside location, and NOT the garage. Too many of my friends have lost power during a storm and did not know the breaker switch in the garage plug shut off the power, until they found out too late (and let me tell you, the stench is bad in the heat in south Georgia in the summer).

If you are a gourmet or gourmand, and you are in a position to have the Porsche life-style, then Blue Ribbon is what you are looking for.

Granted, they did insure the freezer and the contents and it would've been a good deal if I knew I was going to use them for at least 4-5 years, but if I tried it and it didn't work out for me, then the freezer would have been a huge rip-off. I told them that I wanted to order the food service but not the freezer. Guess what - they left and didn't even sell me the food service! So I guess they were in the appliance business after all! There is no way that I personally am going to make a 4-5 year commitment to a service that I've never even tried. It did sound like a good deal for "lifetime" customers but just know what your getting into. I can only rate the experience with the salesmen since I didn't actually get the food. I do believe the salesmen were sincere but they were not looking at it from the point of view of the consumer and they definitely knew they came to sell me a freezer from the get-go. I could have saved them some time.

After watching food inc, having a conversation with my doctor and my own personal research my husband and I decided to order from Blue Ribbon foods. We now know where our food is coming from and realize it comes with a greater cost. We know you often pay for what you get. An earlier review made reference to the finance charges or other fees. We actually made note of this right away and questioned our sales rep. She told us we could arrange a payment that would eliminate this extra fee. The savings aren't insane but we aren't inclined to pay finance charges. Ask questions when you place your order. If you feel funny make sure you get answers, with any service you have to do your research and ask questions.
