I take my car here every time it needs service. They really won me over when I had to drive an old Acura with radiator troubles for a bit. When smoke started coming out of the hood, I took it straight over and they gave me options: they could either do a quick fix for super cheap or a long term fix for quite a bit more. It's not the cheapest in town, but they will not try to convince you to do something to your car that you don't have to do. Great place.

Over many years of driving automobiles and taking my car to mechanic shops Layfield motors has the most dependable and honest employees and service of all the shops I've been to. They diagnosed my cars problem and fixed just that unlike most mechanic shops that tell you that one part is broke and pretend to fix five more things and slap you with a much higher bill than you anticipated. I firmly believe that this shop will make you feel the same way about them as I do .
