Terrible

I took my MacBook here after grabbing the screen and leaving a thumb size bruise on it.

Onyx replaces it for a little over $300.

Less than 18 months later the screen goes out. I decide to take it to the professionals at Mac.

If you have a MAc or a P.C. that is not new, many stores including Apple dn't carry hardware for those older model computers. Onyx has it all at fair prices. They are experts. I updated my Computer there today. The service took less

Being new to the states and using both Mac's and PC's, we were apprehensive in finding a company to help us get sorted out. My first experience with Onyx was for a service call to our flat and it went so well that we now use their shop

Going to the mall is something I absolutely dread and I have had hit or miss experiences with the Apple Stores. They sent me to Onyx for a hard drive upgrade and I had a very good experience. As it turned out, they have a couple locations

Anyone in "the know" in Atlanta regards this company as honest almost to a fault. They have pulled my butt out of the fire more than once. The Apple store recommended me to them in the FIRST place for an older Mac I needed repaired and I'm extremely glad to know them now. I was made privy to information they didn't need to let me in on and it saved me a pretty good chunk of change. Anyone claiming these folks are "shady" is likely "shady" themselves. I highly recomend them.

I could write a book on how horribly unprofessional this place is. The bottom line is that Onyx told me that my computer would cost $500 or more to repair, so it would be cheaper to ship it off. They have had my computer for a long time, a couple of months, and they told me I could work on the loaner in the meantime- and only pay for a week. It has been a few weeks since they shipped it off, and I called to check on the status. The guy who has been "helping" me is the most unhelpful human being I have ever dealt with. He does not answer questions, and always says that things just take a long time. I asked if I could please have the number of the Apple Depot store, so that I could check on the status. According to this guy, you can't call Apple- even Onyx can only e-mail them, and Apple takes a few days to respond. This guy misinformed me. I called Apple and they set the record straight that I have every right to know the status of my computer- and need to get the dispatch number. When I told Onyx of this news, he gave me the number immediately. He was surprised that I took action. He must have been praying I would just type in the number on the electronic system Apple has, but I wanted to make sure it was even my computer he shipped off. My intuitions were right- it was not my computer- the Apple representative looked up the serial number. Apple called Onyx and spoke with them. Apple told me that they would get to the bottom of this and that this guy seemed very shady and was not answering questions about where my computer was. Apple also told me that my computer would have only cost $85 to fix (according to Onyx it was $500). Basically Onyx was charging me over $400 total and they cannot even find my computer right now- I have a feeling they did not even ship it off and who knows where it is. I am going to the place to find out where my mac is- and if they lost it, well I cannot even type what I am going to do on here. Trust me: don't deal with them!

It's 7:20 & these guys are supposed to be closed, but someone let me in anyway. I was told my mother board was bad by another Apple company and they just showed me it was only a $10 battery!!!! I was pissed so they showed me this site to comment. They asked me not to name the other company so I won't - but THEY SUCK!! They tried to totally rip me off and I will tell every Mac user I know.
