I discovered MerryMac through word of mouth when we brought home our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppy at 12 weeks old. We knew she would be a large dog and wanted to make sure we enrolled her in class as soon as possible to ensure she got the foundational skills she needed to be a well rounded dog. We have done two classes with Tina (Puppy Kindergarten and Beginners Obedience) and my husband and I learned so much. Our Zany is a well-rounded girl and the envy of our friends.\tShe is over 110 pounds and we are so glad we did the classes with Tina early in her life and plan on doing more advanced classes this fall. I have found Tina to be very helpful and always willing to spend time outside of formal class sessions to give advice. I feel as if I have my own personal dog trainer and truly appreciate all of the time she has spent with me answering questions and giving advice.\n\nIn addition to the classes, we also signed up for the Pawsitively Play sessions on Saturday and take advantage of them on rainy and cold days - it is a great opportunity to socialize your dog with supervision and also a great place to meet others. They even serve coffee and doughnuts for the humans.\n\nI also buy our food from Merry Mac. They have great incentives (for my brand after I buy so many bags I get one free) and even started a new program where you get cash back after a certain amount spent. The food is well priced and they carry many high-quality varieties.\n\nEven though it is a bit further away from my house than other stores, I choose MerryMac because they are friendly, knowledgeable and a locally owned and operated business. As I once read, we should ?put our money where our house is.?\n

I have taken five dogs through multiple classes at MerryMac with Tina. She has helped scared, rescue dogs blossom into well-adjusted and social members of my family. The classes we took were great: Beginners Obedience, Advanced Beginners, Off-Leash Training, Tricks & Agility, Canine Good Citizen. I particularly enjoy the Saturday morning Pawsitively Play which helps the dogs with socialization and overcoming fear. Tina & Paula have been great helps with nutrition needs and food for all of the life stages of my dogs. The food selection is amazing -- a variety of food types, brands, and prices. Everyone at MerryMac genuinely loves animals and cares about your pet's needs. The store and training area are always clean!

Tina McCain trained both of my dogs and I always look to her for guidance on their nutrition. My dogs LOVE the Positively Play on Saturdays so they can socialize with other dogs.

I had a problem and discreetly asked to speak with Tina privately, I was told she could not talk to me and I should leave and call the next day.\r\n\r\nWeeks later when I finally spoke to her (after leaving several messages to return my call) she was verbally abusive and unprofessional. It seemed as if she took my concerns personally rather than professionally. I can honestly say I have never been treated that way before, especially in a professional setting.\r\n\r\nToo bad, my first impression was fantastic!\r\nI am sure she is the expert with the Westie type dogs.

Tina McCain is an incredible owner/managner. She is Cobb's BEST Dog Trainer and has grown her business in a short time. She loves dogs, her store, and her clients. I will be enrolling my two poodles for "school" this December.

Tina McCain really knows her stuff. Beginner obiedience training was great for the owner & the dog. Agility training was amazing. Very affordable and well worth the cost just to have the dog "spot" while we are eating or have guests in our home.

I am so glad that we found Merrymac. My dog. Dillon was a rescue dog from the animal shelter and was terrified of people and other dogs. He would bark unceasingly , jump up on me amd generally not pay any attention to what we said. The first night of beginner obedience I was almost in tears and told Tina I hoped that she could train Dillon because i didn't know what to do. After the first lesson he was a different dog. It takes a lot of ""homework"" outlined by Tina for the owners to achieve the obedience sought to make a well behaved dog. Dillon has just completed his Advanced Beginner class and even though we have some things we have to work on he can now go out in public and not bark at everyone and everything. He has learned to sit and stay and stay in a down position until released. He follows the command to wait and not pull ahead and is generally proud of himself and what he has learned . Tina gives personal attenton to all the dogs and helps the owners to resolve any issues by demonstrating techniques to change unwanted behavior. This trraining facility deserves 5 stars and I would highly recommend it for all dogs.

We love MerryMac Dog Training! Tina's skills as a dog trainer/behaviorist are unmatched. She taught us how to motivate our dogs with praise & positive reinforcement. Our pets are the envy of all our friends. They all know how to display the best manners. We took her tricks class, too. Our little stars love to show off what they have learned. Tina's knowledge of canine nutrition is expansive as well. Our dogs are well rounded: mind, body & soul, thanks to MerryMac.

I have not used them for training, but they are very nice and knowledgeable here. You can really tell they love dogs and love working with them. They have a decent selection of all natural dog food - Solid Gold, Evangers - The staff was super nice when I came in. They gave me great advice and lots of samples for my dogs to try out!

You tought me and my dog more in the first lesson than I received from my entire session at a previous training facility. Tina has a wonderful repore with the dogs and she is very clear with her instructions and lessons. MerryMac's indoor dog park is perfect for my dogs socialization needs.
