Don't go to any other in-town pet supply store. Park Pet has the most friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff around. They have everything you need for cats, dogs, and fish. And if you don't know what exactly it is that you need, they can probably tell you. Their prices are lower than their main in-town competitor and even better than the large chain stores. Plus, Park Pet gives you points to earn free treats and keeps a log of your food purchases for special deals from manufacturers.
I love this place. They have everything you would need for your pet, including high quality food you can't get in grocery stores. The owner is wonderful and is always willing to spend time with you to find out exactly what it is you are looking for, even if you aren't entirely sure yourself. Prices are competitive and the location is convenient.
Park Pet Supply is simply one of the best pet supply stores in metro Atlanta. The owner, Victoria Park, is so knowledgeable about pet nutrition, safety, health, etc. She carries only high-quality products at very affordable prices. And she cares about the pets - they aren't just a profit margin for her. She is involved in her community and in animal welfare in Atlanta. Park Pet Supply offers a wonderful alternative to the pet store chains that sell inferior products, and pets.
Park Pet Supply is located in the East Atlanta Village. They carry all of the really top-end pet foods that you cannot buy at the grocery store or Petsmart (Innova, Canidea, Chicken Soup, Wellness, California Natural, etc.) and the prices are good. What is really great about this place is the expertise you recieve from the employees. They really know their stuff with regard to animal nutrition & supplements, which is great. They carry a pretty good selecion of toys, treats, etc. and they will order anything you want that they don't carry. They also have a frequent buyer program, and after 10 visits you get a free pack of treats (your choice which kind, some of them run $15+ per package). They have added some new services recently, like a groomer (and a do-it-yourself dog wash station), and a pet artist (you can have your pooch's face commissioned!). They also help out with dog & cat rescue and always have at least one of each roaming around the store looking for a new home. And, of course, your animals are welcome while you shop!
PROS: very experienced, carry hard-to-find foods
CONS:
Nice place to Stop and shop for your pet.
