But Brunch isn't the only good thing there. Everything on the menu is great, food and drink. However, the restaurant is smack in the middle of the college bar scene and if you plan to have dinner here, especially on a weekend, plan to be in the company of loud, drunken college students.
We were looking for an early dinner on Sunday in downtown Athens and came upon East West Bistro. The place was nearly empty so we got a good window seat. We tried the specials, both fish, for the whopping price of $27 and $30....sans salad, bread, or water. The food was well prepared.....but not a value at these prices. The waitress seemed unsure and had a tendency to disappear. Would we recommend? Yes, if you have the $$$ to burn. Otherwise, take the time to search for a good, fairly priced place in town.
Pros: Electric, fresh food, easy parking
Cons: Dinner was served cold, over priced, no bread or salad served w/ special
