I prefer going here over Six Flags. It's closer to home and costs less. The crowds are probably about the same, but it still has that hometown kind of feel and you just feel safer about having your children here than at Six Flags. The water rides are a lot fun and absolutely neccessary to cool down when spending a day out in the hot sun. Go with an empty stomach and eat as much Fun food as you can! We love the funnel cakes-I just wish they had Elephant Ears. The corn dogs are out of this world!

We took my daughter here for her birthday. This is a very nice park. There is a lot to do. They have music, rides, games, food. We especially enjoyed the putt putt golf. We have children from 4-9 and there was something for everyone to do. The pricing was reasonable and the people very friendly.

It's a part of my childhood that is one of my most happy memories. I went to Lake Winnie regularly as a child and I took my children there every chance I had. Now I even take my grandchildren. It seems a lot smaller now but I know it isn't. It has been owned by the same family for generations and it is a great place for family outings and company picnics. The July 4th fireworks are always spectacular every year.

This is Chattanooga's little Six Flags. It is actually in Rossville, GA which is right across the Georgia State line. They have rides for little kids as well as water rides and roller coasters. They have like 10 rides for little kids and over ten what they call thrill rides.

To get in is only 3.00 and you can purchase tickets for .75 each. Unlimited Ride Pass is $18.00. Much cheaper than Six Flags. They also have summer concerts so go often to the website for info.

The food there is really good, expecially the funnel cakes. There are many rides to enjoy, including roller coasters, water rides, and bumper cars. My favorite was a spinning ride called the Orbiter. I would highly recommend it for a place of fun.

Lake Winnepesaukah (or Lake Winnie for short), may not be as big as Six Flaggs, but this place is close to my heart.

I've enjoyed going here since I was a little kid, and am now enjoying sharing it with my daughter. It has a rich history since Lake Winnie was previously a swim Lake/park in the late 1800's & early 1900's. Any of the older ones in the area can tell you about that.

It's very family oriented & has many games, rides & things to keep kids entertained. Food is delicious with the usual fast food fare, (pizza, hamburger, hotdogs, chilidogs, nachos), but also things like funnel cakes, ice cream & cotton candy of course.

Younger kids will find loads of rides to suit their fancy, but older kids & teens will find thrill rides for them too. Families can really have a lot of fun all together since there's so much to do. You can ride rides, play the miniature golf course, or go to a concert where you can hear big names like Confederate Railroad & Aaron Tippin.

Everybody loves riding the boat chute or the PipeLine Plunge which is a big thrill ride, to get cooled off or riding the Alpine Way (cable cars that ride over the park). Also, don't miss the carousel, ferris wheel, paddle boats, and the Antique Cars, which is a lot of fun for a family.

There are picnic areas all thru the park & a large game area where you can play the usual try-to-win-a-prize games or play skee ball for tickets. Be sure to check out the souvenir shops before you leave since they have some neat items that kids will love.

You can buy individual ride tickets, but it's cheaper to buy a $19 ride all day bracelet. People who don't ride anything must pay a $3.00 admission fee. You can get discounts depending on the day you visit. If you buy coke cans here you can usually get a certain day of the week (usually Fridays), discounted or Buy 1 ride bracelet, get 1 free. Large groups also can get discounts, so it pays to check that out.

PROS: Fun for familes, great rides, food, games, golf & souvenirs!
CONS: Expensive, but can you put a price on memories?
