The tapas are okay and the drinks are good depending on the bartender. No sense of consistency but the biggest problem is the terrible service/treatment of it's patrons. On our first visit we were asked to hurry up and finish half way through our meal because a party of 30 was being sat and they needed the space. We had only been sitting for no more than 30 minutes so we were far from finished. The second time I was told, after we had already been sat, that baseball hats weren't allowed. This was said to me by the manager in a crowded restaurant but the hostess never said a word even though I could have been notified long before we sat down and save me the time and embarrassment. Okay food+bad service+rude people= find another tapas place.

I like the other location better - this one is a little hidden. Same great food though. Love that sangria! And when the band comes in to play.

The outdoor area is really lovely, but the food was very gross. The sangria was very watery. For tapas we ordered the beet and goat cheese salad, the empanadas, ceviche, and gambas al ajillo. They mixed up the goat cheese and beet salad so that the goat cheese appeared a florescent purple color, not the most desirable presentation. I realize it's the beets that make it that color, but didn't think it was necessary for them to make it that color by whipping it into a paste. Gross. The empanadas were no where near authentic, but more resembled something you could get out of the freezer section and deep fried it. The Ceviche was not good, but I'm not a big fan in general. And the gambas were cold and instead of cooking them in garlic it was like they just sliced garlic on top of it for presentation. I hated this place.

Arrived at 7:30 pm on a Friday night with a party of 4. They do not take reservations for small parties (<10). was quoted a 45 minute wait. After an 1 and a half hour wait, complained to the hostess after a smaller party that arrived after us was seated. Manager came over and told us that we would be seated immediately (after we complained). Asked why we were not seated earlier and gave no good explanation. We left without eating dinner. Wished we had not spent $$ at the bar waiting on a table. Have eaten here before with a large party and it was good. Apparently, they don't care about smaller parties.

For my wife's birthday (June 7th), she wanted to eat a spanish cuisine.

So, I went Citysearchin' for spanish restaurants and came across Eclipse Di Luna. The reviews seemed very favorable.

When we got to the restaurant, we were seated immediately. It is not as cozy as I would have liked it to be for the event but it is still a great restaurant. Sometimes, the live music seemed a little loud but it is not ear-drum shattering and you don't have to scream your lungs out trying to talk over it.

The lighting hanging from the ceiling gives it a nice touch at night time. Plus they have places for you to sit outside if you prefer.

Our server, Cooper, was excellent. She was very attentive to her section. I noticed that she would walk up and down every so often looking for drink levels, unused plates, etc and she was quick to remove and refill as necessary.

We had a small amount of ribs as an appetizer and they were delicious. However, the main course, Chicken / Seafood Paella (it has a slightly different name on the menu) was just awesome. I will try the vegetarian Paella next time.

Note: If you don't want leftovers, one order of the Paella dish will serve 2 people. They give you a lot!

Overall, it is a great place and we will be back very soon.

My father and his wife were visiting town so I wanted to take them to somewhere fun. I made a reservation so that we would not have to wait around for a table. So much for that idea! We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated after we checked in with the hostess. I honestly do not understand why I even bothered to make reservations. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table if I have made reservations.
When we were finally seated, we waited around for 10 minutes looking for our waiter. Nobody showed up, so we got up and left.
The only things else I can say about Eclipse Di Luna is that the music is very loud, you can barely have a conversation. The tables and chairs and very crowded and you can barely walk through to get to your table.
I will not be coming back.

I couldn't agree more with the other reviews. Definitely don't go with a large group if you are planning on hearing what anybody has to say. Good bands and a great environment for listening to the music, but not the people you are there with.

I don't know if it was the cocktails we had before we had the food, but the food we had there was beyond awesome! We tried the special of the day-quail wrapped in zucchini (although didn't quite get the zucchini-the quail probably decided against it..pretty warm weather that evening...), and couple of other items off the menu-goat cheese stuffed peppers, ceviche and the flan for dessert. My mouth still waters when I try to recall the flavors of the ceviche and the peppers. The flan was near perfection. I hate to describe food using any other adjectives than those meant to describe food, but you will am sure pardon me for calling the flan near perfection, when you too have tasted it.

The atmosphere was great-packed to the hilt with friday night hip, midtowners, but when there's great live music and a mojito to boot, who's complaining?

The place is getting known in this Industrial dead end road. Here is a food joint at the end of the road. They have just redone the parking lot recently. The parking is better now since being repaved and new lines were painted. Before people just parked anywhere. The place has been featured on the news and in the local papers so it is a hot spot. Reservations are not guranteed here but only hold your place in line or get you on the list. I know the bar area is open to anyone so no reservations for that area ever but all other areas do require seating which can be 30 minutes or more of a wait on the weekend. Just keep in mind it is not a white linen place so it is causual and just go with the flow. I would suggest maybe a tip to the person seating folks to get a table faster? It could work for you but this place is so small not much room so if you hate to wait you better go early and not mess around. The music can be very loud. The reason again is that it is so small and I am guessing no more than 5000 sqaure feet if that ? The place is in a industrial building which was a store at one point so the conversion of the space also explains the funky layout. It is for the best of words a hole in the wall place for locals so it has charm. The service from the wait staff has been favorable but they get busy and you have to be agressive to get them to stop and remind them what you want everytime you get a chance. It has grown in favor of the locals so it is now established. So much for an easy wait or quick service unless it goes out of favor.

Thinking that this is a good "date spot" as the editorial review suggests, I made reservations for me and my wife to dine there for a Sunday evening. It turned out that it was a bad experience after all. We got there and discovered that they had some sort of singles night going on then. As a result, many people were standing and roaming around with labels with their names attached to their chests. I mentioned our reservation and she said that they have either a table for 6 where they can sit us or we can go outside (about 55 F that evening). Well, the said table for 6 was right in front of the door and surrounded by many of the singles that were trying to get their conversations going. They were clearly bumping some of the chairs with their backs. I could not see myself as having a nice date by taking a table in such a crowded location. Also, our reservation was for two and not for six.

The hostess got snappy fast and she said in response to our question about the use of our reservation that "I do have a table, don't I?". We left. So, if you make reservations to have a nice date, please be aware that you might be asked sit in the cold or at an improvised table for you.

This restaurant had a fun and lively atmosphere but the food was definitely below average. The ribs were primarily fat and in general all the dishes lacked flavor. There was not one dish that I would order again, except maybe the cheese platter. The service was good and the staff was very friendly.

I was enjoying tapas at the bar when a "gentleman" approached me, did not introduce himself, and demanded my chair-no explaination. He seemed kind of drunk and I was annoyed by the experience but passed it off as a drunk patron looking for a chair for a friend. I mentioned it to the bartender, who said he'd watch out. Five minutes later, the guy comes back with a bouncer (black security t-shirt) and told me to get out of the chair. I was dumbfounded! I paid my check and left. Fortunately, on my way out the door, I saw one of the managers who had helped me organize my birthday parties and occasional corporate lunches and told him the story. He explained that the guy I was having trouble with was a new manager. Just then, two police officers showed up and said that they had been told(by the other manager) that I was to leave the club! Thank heavens the manager I knew was there to thell them that I was not being thrown out. I shook hands with the police officers and assurred them that I was leaving and that I would not be returning. I am a lady, not a rowdy kid, and they were clearly perplexed as to why this lady in business clothes acting perfectly politely was being thrown out of a restaurant. Called the owner, James Erlich and left a message, did not get a response. James-you've got a bad manger on your hands.

I'll never go there or recommend them again. Now I tell everyone to avoid the place.

If you are a fan of Tapas or Spanish small plates ? this is definitely your place.

The setting is Cozumel casual urban chic which we found both comfortable and relaxing. The only thing missing is a pleasant view of the beach. Order a Mojito and use your imagination.

I am a foodie and was delighted with the variety and complexity of the offerings. Each Tapas we devoured exploded with bold flavors and textures. Suggestions: Piquillo peppers stuffed with honey goat cheese, pepper-fennel crusted tuna with artichoke salad and caraway oil, grilled pork with grape puree, and roasted eggplant empanada. Surprise star: crispy green beans with sea salt. Must try: Mojito, a cool refreshing blend of light rum, lime, soda, and fresh mint.

Portions are small but remind yourself you can have four or five Tapas for the price of most restaurant entrees. Tip: the plates can come fast and furious so stagger your order to slow things down and keep the food hot.

There is a reason this restaurant has been voted ?best Tapas? in Atlanta. They earned it.

My first time visiting Eclipse di Luna, I was celebrating a birthday. We shared the paella. It was delicious.. You have to call ahead, but it is worth it!!

The second time, my boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night around 6pm. It was just starting to get crowded and we beat the rush. The waiters were very friendly and fast. The food was great!! Music was loud but good. The food was enjoyable.. The evening was absolutely perfect from the mojitos to the band... It was very romantic and I would highly recommend.... It gets very crowded on Friday and Saturday so you have to get there early for a good seat. They have definitely gotten it right!!!! A good blend of great food, good service, good music, and nice atmosphere... A wonderful combination.

We were ignored for several minutes after arrival. When I suggested one of the many empty tables further in toward the bar, I was asked how long do you think you will be? We were then grudgingly seated closer to the bar. The answer to how long we would be there was 15 minutes longer than we thought. No one came to take a drink order, make eye contact or acknowledge our existence on the planet for that long. Finally, about to walk out we were approached. The wait staff took my drink order then sneezed in the middle of my husband's order and went to the restroom. Understandable ? but then she talked to a few people on the way back to the table, passing the time and allowing her trainee to take the heat. More time passed between trips back to our table. Is my money not good enough? The restaurant was not full when I left on a Friday night at 8:00 pm. I guess we do not have the right look for the way to s*xy for their paycheck wait staff.

Pros: Food

Cons: service

I had a really nice time at Loca Luna. I went on a Saturday night with a date, and the wait wasn't that long. Once seated, our server could have been better but she wasn't horrible. She was knowledgeable about the menu, but had to be reminded of our orders on 2 separate occasions. I really really enjoyed the food. Especially the patatas bravas, the empanada, and the carne marinada. I look forward to going back, and would definitely recommend it.

Eclipse di Luna is our favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The food is always fun, and almost always delicious. And on the rare occasion we don't care for the dish? Whatever, it's $4 and we have plenty more coming. EdL is always a great time. This is where we take all of our friends and family who come in from out of town and everyone has loved it so far. There are a couple drawbacks, though, to be fair. It's very, very loud. Loud to the point that talking to each other is almost impossible. And there are some bad tables, particularly the two bar/tables at the front entrance. And it's always crowded. But, if you make a reservation and secure a table on the covered patio, those problems are eliminated.

Pros: Awesome food and atmosphere. Oh yeah, I forgot: the best mojitos anywhere.

Cons: Very loud and crowded.

My wife and I love this place. The atmosphere is great, the food is awesome and they have music on weekends. It does get pretty crowded, but it is worth the wait!

I heard about this restaurant from a friend before moving to Atlanta back in 2005. Since then my boyfriend and i have been there a dozen times. The food is amazing and changes a couple times a year. They have great mojitos and sangria. The wait can be a little long sometimes and try to sit outside because the band can be a little loud,.

On a recent trip to Atlanta I was thrilled to find Eclipse di Luna as the perfect place to hold my upcomming engagment party. I spoke in person with the manager about the amount of guest (around 40-50)and the starting base of the budget ($500-$700). With the promise that additional tabs would be opened after the initial funds expiered I asked would these numbers be agreeable with the venue. "Yes Yes Yes" she said to me "no problem" ....."we can work with you". Great I thought... this is going to be perfect.
Then earlier this morning all my fellings of joy came crashing down when I phoned the restaurant to confirm our reservation for the big event. The same manager told me that cost would be $30pp totalling around $1800!!
And if I did not want to pay this amount then they could not help me HOW GREEDY!!!!!!!
Now I am left to find a new venue all the way from California....urgh.
If you enjoy spending your hard earned money in a establishment that does not appriciate it than this is the place for you.....as for me all I can say is "SHAME ON YOU" Eclipse di Luna "SHAME ON YOU"!!

Once in while you find a place that is simply the right fit for all those that arrive there. This is one of those places. The team that works and manages the place truly get what it means to provide customer service and value. I could go on and on about how wonderful the food, drinks and service was but you must experience for yourself. The atmosphere is both warm and welcoming and the music really sets the mood and tone for the place and is played at a level that is just right to still carry on a conversation. The bartenders work as a complete unit and have the personality and the looks to go along with it. I travel a lot and experience many restaurants and bars all around the country and it is a treat to come across one that displays such a commitment to pleasing the customer. Why sitting up at the bar, I watched and listened to the stories and the various scenarios that were unfolding as the night went on and found a pleasant and refreshing approach to them as well. All members of the staff from line employees to management were treated with respect and appeared to care about each other as if they were family. My hope is that this observation is an accurate one and that I just didn't happen to be there on the right night. My heart tells me this is the norm here and if you want great food and a truly wonderful time, you must come and enjoy !!

Pros: Atmosphere and Attitude

Cons: Unusal Location but worth the journey

This place is one of the best restaurants in all of Atlanta. Obscurely located, its a great hotspot that's ridiculously popular. It is always busy, but the food is well worth it. A variety of small dishes to choose from are all quick out of the kitchen, and satisfy your taste buds delightfully. The margaritas and sangria are both extremely satisfying as well. Dine on Sundays for $10 bottomless sangria. Its a great place to bring a group of friends or for a fun date.

Food is good, but service is not. Unfortunately, I made the mistake to book a party for 20 people. The day before the party I guaranteed 15 (which is the minimum they require for holding the tables). The settings was not adjusted for 15 people, so it made look like like a whole lot of people didn't come. Furthermore, they never adjust the food from 20 to the 12 that did attend. There was food everywhere and the service personel seemed to be on automatic pilot. They didn't pace the food to give everyone a chance to taste it. I paid $120 for tip for service I could have received at McDonald's. Our server was taking care of four other tables. It was impossible. Dishes accumulated at the end of the table. I had to go ask them to remove them. It was not a good experience at all. Also, do not buy the wine, beer and sangria option. The sangria was watered down and wine was horrible.

I had spoken to their "party planner" and explained how important this was. Of course, it didn't make a difference at all. I don't recommend booking large parties unless you get a commitment for dedicated staff. Again the food was good, but this is just not the place for booking your next party.

Pros: Great Music and good menu.

Cons: Service is slow, specially with large parties. Reservation only available for parties.

My husband and I eat here all the time and have never been disappointed. It does get very crowded so reservations are a good idea. The service is great and so is the food. They just changed the menu and we were disappointed that they took a couple of our favorite dishes off but they still have a great selection. They have live music which is great!

Wow, what can i say? This place has good food, and good service. Dined there last week and food was delish and inexpensive. The next time around, I called for their to "go menu" got there, and the waitress had forgotten to take down my order. A man at the bar offered me free drinks, appetizers, and even offered to take it to my hotel. Finds out that this man is the owner of the restaurant. Overall best, superior service I've ever seen. A must try restaurant if you want to go out for a night of yummy tapas!!!

We went on a Saturday night, and even though we had a reservation it was still a 15-20 minute way for our table. The food was great, the drinks were refreshing. My only real complaint is that it was loud, with a lot of people in a small space, and a live band playing. Not that that is bad, but its not a good conversational type spot.

I have dined at this place several times now, and I have been pleased everytime. Service is wonderful and the food is outstanding. The decor is charming with unique wall art and wood tables and chairs. They have live music nightly and great bar service. For Friday and Saturday nights, make a reservation though, if not, the wait can be over an hour. This a great place to have a dinner party as you can reserve the wine room for group dining.

The food was incredible - every dish I tried was savory. And the tapas prices can't be beat. It was pretty loud when I went, so don't expect to have a whole lot of meaningful conversation. Try the mussels - they're amazing. I will definitely be going back for the food - but make sure to have a reservation, it's always packed.

My husband and I eat out at least two or three times a week, and we came here on Friday night on the recommendation of a friend. First thing: make a reservation! The reputation this place has for being crowded is well-deserved- people were spilling out into the parking lot. We waited at the bar, and were blown away by the engaging manner and great service by Eric- he was too funny! We were seated and enjoyed a wonderful dinner- the tapas were fantastic, even though we felt they were more Mediterranean than Spanish. Our waitress (Beth) really did a great job- even making some really neat recommendations.
The staff was great all the way around- and we'll happily be back, if only to spend some more time at the bar...

This is a really fun place to go eat delicious tapas and listen to live music. This is NOT a great place to go if you have a large party or actually want to have a conversation over dinner because it can be very crowded and very loud.
The best dishes are the calamari, spicy sausage, patatas bravas and the Spanish cheese platter. I lived in Spain for 5 months and this food is pretty authentic.
Another plus is the reasonable prices - you can have dinner for two, including a pitcher of Sangria, for about $25.

first time = great time - second time = a terrible experience. I took my girlfriend for her birthday, had reservations, they made us wait for almost an hour, when we were about to leave they sat us at a horrible improvised table. I complained hard to the staff until the owner appeared and gave us free drinks all night and a birthday cake. Food is just OK, music is always latin and too loud (never heard the flamenco or jazz). A place for a casual time not for a special occasion.

Chef Shan Holler has simplified the menu, but many dishes reflect authentic Spanish tapas, such as the gambas al ajillo, four head-on shrimp (slightly overcooked) with slices of sweet garlic infusing the dipping sauce. Olives and almonds…
