Tranquility Skin Care

Honestly, I was a little turned off when I first entered. It is NOT a spa atmosphere. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing (maybe they're smarter than their competition). However, you do get great service and beware, the ladies are great saleswomen.

Background: I had just given birth to our only child, through a risky pregnancy, which resulted in our near financial ruin. My husband bought me one of their introductory offer packs b/c he worked in the same business complex and was willing to sacrifice his lunch for a week to bring me joy. It was kind-of like a buy-one, get-one offer that seemed pretty generous. However, when I got in there and they started working on me, I forgot my budget. My technician treated me with grace and respect, even when I had to use two credit cards to cover the charges. I may have left broke, but I felt good about myself and received a great treatment.

With that said, the facial was worth every penny and they deserve your business. If I had known how bad my skin was before, I might have been too embarrassed to "show my face" or allow my technician (forgive me, I forget her name) to even bother. My experience was awesome, gentle, informative, professional, and much more. You should go.

I don't trust just anyone to work with my skin, but I found experience and knowledge at Tranquility. The specialty facial treatments have made an amazing difference in the texture and look of my skin. The microdermabrasion and peel were done with amazing comfort and skill. The Yonka products are first rate and everything is reasonably priced. I know these services at a larger spa would not have been done as well and would have cost twice as much. I'm a believer in the nescessity of caring for your skin and will strive to do everything Heidie has instructed to keep my skin looking great. Heidie and Susan are truly skin care experts.

I have had many facials around Atlanta, especially the popular big name spas, but this takes the cake as far as great facials are concerned! Great price for a basic facial. My skin never felt and looked better coming out of a facial. I have come out of facials breaking out worse than when I went in but not the case here. I feel that Heidi was very attentive and was very helpful about tips with my skin care regimen. I have been facial hopping trying to find "the place" and I think I have found a facial home. She also gave me a nice and detailed brow wax. This is not a fancy place with theme rooms but it is clean, nice and friendly. Be warned, if you want a weekend appointment, book two months in advanced. I am glad to support an independent business with a focus on excellent skin care. This place is a must try!

I have been going to Heidi for over 2 years now. She has completely transformed my skin. The prices are great because you can actually maintain a program and go once a month. The products are great as well and are never pushed on you. Heidi always gives me lots of samples to try before buying products so that I can make sure things work for me skin before I buy a large size of something. The best part is that I never leave looking blotchy or irritated. I always leave looking better than when I came in. The only downside is that Tranquility is so great that it is hard to get an appointment these days. :-)

I go to Tranquility regularly and I'm always impressed. I've seen Heidi for brow waxes, facials and micro and have been thoroughly satisfied each time. Besides having great hands, she's very attentive to the needs of each client, the atmosphere is soothing and, although they will load you up with samples, they never try to push you to buy any product. I also like that it's just Heidi and Susan, so you get personalized service instead of being treated like a number.
