Ask for Shelly. She was very nice and got my baby to be comfortable. We lliked her much better than that girl we saw last time. Don't remember her name. We didn't feel rushed like we did last time either. Very nice visit. The girl at the desk was very nice too. We will go back.

My experience during the past year with this office is that the Dentists and Hygenists are very good but the office management is poor. I have been overbilled and on one occasion did not receive a bill until three months after my appointment with the statement ""your insurance company paid you directly so pay us now!"" which is difficult to do until a bill is received from the office. When I was overbilled I confirmed the error with the billing rep and then had to request a bill showing my account paid in full. If you try to call the billing/insurance office you will always reach a voice mail recording and then have to wait for a return call with no idea when the return call will be made. Today I tried to reach the office manager and was told that she was not in today and the receptionist had no idea when she would be back. This dental office has made it very clear that although they are very willing to take your money they definitely don't like to actually speak with the customer other than for scheduling an apointment.

Pros:

Very easy to get a hold of and make appointments. If you have dealt with Children's Dental Center of Atlanta, you know that trying to make or cancel an appointment can be, shall we say, quite frustrating.

VERY nice office at the Conyers location on Flat Shoals. Clean as a whistle. Loads of parking and easy to get to.

Very up to date and clean equipment.

Very knowledgeable about current treatments.

The Doctor I deal with is very nice and takes all the time you want in answering questions.

Cons: -- You knew that there had to be some, right ?

The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that we discussed sealants for my son's back molars, and I said that I would get back to them on that, as I had some concerns and wanted to research it further. Well, I brought him in for some other work, and when they were done while we were talking about what as done, they told me that they did the sealants. I was pretty upset by this, as someone mistakenly added this treatment without me ever saying to. Not good. You can not make a mistake like that, as you feel as if perhaps someone did that on purpose just to make the money off the procedure.

The front office, while very efficient, was not the most courteous. This was not really that big a deal alone and by itself, but when you combine it with the ' I am getting text messages and may not have time to be bothered with your questions ' type of feel, you just wonder how low the level of supervision is in the office, not just behind the reception desk, but behind the treatment area doors.

The chain feel. Don't care much for that for some of the above reason, but the fact that the have mobile trucks makes me think that they care about the public more.

The dentists are professional and the staff is friendly and courteous. I feel so comfortable with them working with my child. They always give open and honest answers to all of my questions. They always make the experience fun and exciting, so my child always looks forward to going to the dentist.

My children have been attending this dental group for a year and a half. They love to get their teeth cleaned. The office is very kid friendly which is useful for young children. The staff treats the children great and they are friendly.
