I saty here on my monthy business trip to Atlanta. The location is great, the office is down the street and there is a mix of great restaurants with just a short walk around the corner. On the weekends the club downstairs causes it to be

Gosh I love this hotel, and why wouldn't I? Guess who else loves this hotel? That is right, my dog Sophie! She is maybe a bigger fan than I. The rooms are gorgeous and seem very new and the restaurant is to die for! Doggie bags provided. Room service is prompt and can't be beat. I come to atlanta every 3 months or so (to get my extensions done by Renee at Gloss...had to plug her!) don't I sound like a dIva now? I always stay at this W because the location is central and the atmosphere is lively, oh, and don't forget the view! My points are best spent here and I would recommend it to any diva traveling with her dog in tow!

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

While the W is very unique and attractive the staff isn't the best to deal with. The TV when you walk through the entrance is so cool and the fixtures are so interesting. The roof pool is very nice as well.
My only complaint was that some of the managers weren't as on their game as it seemed the wanted to come across and I felt that asking for help was a complete bother to them.

Pros: Decor
Cons: Staff
we went here for some late night drinks and had fun... I felt like I was in New York City. I liked it and will be back!

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago. It's a great location for anyone wanting to hang out in the Midtown area - just a walk away from restaurants and local sights. The club downstairs can tend to be a little loud, but it's a great place to get a cocktail with friends.

If your idea of class is a ?80 Cutlass with an iridescent paint job, $5000 rims, and a 50,000 watt sound system; then the W Hotel in Midtown is the place for you. The hotel was remodeled from an old Sheraton using a lot of black and chrome. The attempt to be hip and trendy is undermined by the cheap room furnishings and antiquated infrastructure. Air conditioning problems abound in this hotel (rooms and hallways) and the water pressure was abysmal. My reservation was incorrect and I had to pepper the concierge to get anything other than promises and platitudes. The rates were fairly steep and yet the hotel constantly nickel-and-dimes the guests for every service and supply.
The hotel is also the current Atlanta hot nightspot for the rap music industry, and alternative lifestyle community. Take this as a plus or minus depending on your tastes. You can see celebrities and other interesting people doing interesting things at the hotel lounge and lobby in the evenings.
On the very short list of plusses: the rooms were well supplied with towels, the rainfall shower head made up for the lack of water pressure, the rooms had HDTV, and the location is convenient to downtown Atlanta. I also want to give a big shout out to the valet and porter staff for their courtesy and service.
This is more of a place for young people with large amounts of disposable income to be seen than a place for professionals and experienced travelers to stay. The latter groups being advise to avoid this place at all costs. Horribly over-priced, definitely not a place for families or seasoned professionals; this hotel is oriented to x-gen DINCs, urbanites, and metrosexuals.

Pros: Location
Cons: Too many to list
The W Hotel Midtown has finally opened. The exterior looks great. The lobby has been chopped in half, and is rather small. This hotel has been a Sheraton, and when it opened in the mid-seventies, it was a Fairmont. And the first brunch in the city, Blue Jeans Brunch, was on the top floor, where the new Whiskey Bar is located. And Rande Gerber, and his brother have brought their signature bar to the ATL. Expensive, beautiful, like the girl of your dreams. But when the dream is over, you have your American Express party bill. Such is life. We loved the Spice Market on the second level. Not as much spice as we like, and not as authentic as the one in the Meat Packing District. But a great addition to Midtown. And we miss the grand staircase that was in the lobby, so I guess we will just have to go across the street to the Four Season's for theirs. Place will do well, for a contemporary approach to hospitality in Midtown. Waiting on the new W Downtown this fall, with the BLT Restaurant.

Pros: Hip Hotel, Whiskey Park, & Spice Market!
Cons: Don't Care For The Lobby Design!
Its about time we got one of these (in the perimeter). Whisky Peach is really fun and the atmosphere is good. There were alot of people to mingle with and a good looking crowd. We ate at Spice Market first and it was pretty good (not as good as the one in Manhatan) but still good. All in all we had alot of fun and I would def recommend everyone to try it out!!

This Sheraton has a very unique location close to everything that Atlanta has to offer. The rates are reasonable for a hotel of this calibre and the room service is wonderful.
PROS: Great rooms, great food, great staff
CONS: Traffic
The shearaton Atlanta Hotel is how all atlanta hotels should be. Its elegant and modernly designed. The dark rich colors of the room are warm and inviting. The wooded furniture is the perfect finishing touch. The wood desk with lamp, telephone, and computer data port is a great spot to get work done.

When my in-laws came to visit, they stayed here for 2 nights and found the accommodations comfortable and conveniently located near the High Museum and Piedmont Park. Good value for a Midtown hotel.
