We always get the bbq pork and brunswick stew. Sometimes, we drive from north of atlanta just to get to Sprayberry's! The BBQ is out of this world and well worth the drive!

The BBQ pork was probably good before they poured vinegar all over it. The sauce is very thin with tomato and vinegar as the two main components. The problem is that the vinegar to tomatoe ratio is about 10:1. You can't taste much else. I had a couple of bits that were not soaked in vinegar that I could taste the the pork had been well cooked enough that it matched the aroma outside the restaurant.

The slaw tasted like cabbage and vinegar and little else. Kind of interesting but nothing like what you might expect.

Pickles were not particularly flavorful. I think they were supposed to be sweet, but tasted like they were skimping on seasoning.
French fries were the food service company steak fry kind. Not particularly good or bad.

The Brunswick stew was cooked to death. Could not recognize anything. It all looked like bits of stuff. It was like they confuse Brunswick stew with BBQ hash.

I really like vinegar. I put it on everything from taters to beans to avocadoes. I was annoyed that the only parts of my ribs I could taste over the vinegar were the parts that were burned.

The service was slow due to the waitress stopping to chat with everyone like she knew them. Thats not really a bad thing.

I wasn't highly impressed with the food. Service was good, but my favorite thing about eating at BBQ places is the Brunswick Stew and slaw, neither of which were impressive. I don't think I'll be back.

Sprayberry's Barbecue is legendary in this part of Georgia. This family run business has been serving some of the best BBQ in Georgia for many years .The Brunswick stew is good , too. Eat in or get to go for a delicious but easy dinner.
