If you can get a table . . .  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

By P M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 10,055

If lively atmosphere matters to you, this is the place.. The prices may be slightly high, but you have to remember you are paying for the atmosphere, not the food. It's always extremely busy and crowded. I agree with the other review, I don't understand why this restaurant has so much hype around it.

Why is this place so busy?  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

By Jeff H. | insider Insider | Rank: 12,800

I have never understood the attraction of the Bahamas Breeze franchise. Real Bahamian food, like I ate on my last trip to Nassau, is not to be found here. Service is slow, assuming you can get a table after your 1.5 hour wait. Drinks are small and expensive. The appetizers were good and spicy (although I do not like conch), but the meals were overpriced. I fail to see the attraction of this place.

PROS: appetizers
CONS: prices, service, wait time, you name it

A Fun Place with Great Caribbean Food  4 Star Rating - Very good

By Tamara B. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,412

I love the fun, tropical atmosphere at Bahama Breeze. The palm trees, dark woods, wicker, firepit, high ceilings and live Island music all add to the casual fun in the large dining rooms. We met three other couples the night we enjoyed our Caribbean adventure at Bahama Breeze. Featuring lots of coconut and spice, the Island inspired menu is full of a deliciously unique variety. From Island Onion Rings (coconut-breaded with chili-horseradish and citrus mustard dipping sauces) to Tostones con Pollo (home-fried plantains topped with chicken, mushrooms and cheese) to Fire-Roasted Jerk Shrimp (simmered in garlic-thyme butter with warm Cuban bread), our appetizers were all incredible! Our party of 8 feasted on Cuban black bean soup with yellow rice, Angel Hair Pomodoro, Calypso Shrimp Linguine, Oak-Grilled Sirloin Palomilla, Jamaican Grilled Chicken Breast, Chicken Santiago - and all were scrumptious! For dessert we indulged in key lime pie, pia colada bread pudding, Dulce de Leche cheesecake and a wonderful chocolate and coffee mousse. There is a children's menu available, but don't waste this fabulous experience on them.
