I so excited bout my husbands tattoo I wanna let the world know! For 5 years I have had to look at these messed up tattoos my man got at another shop in Savannah. Them tattoos were horrible from day 1 and they was twice as expensive when we gots them the first time. My husband picked the Mike Ferrara tattoo artist. He made my guy go from jail house to rock star. Thank you Good Fortune!

I have had several tattoos done at this establishment and have had the best service and best artwork and design out of any place I have gone to. I would so totally tell any one to go her!!

They are no longer in business. They were bought out by one of their head artists, Mike Pfau and his wife Abbey back in April of this year. There is still great artwork being created at the same place, but it is now known as American Irons

Everyone was so nice, and the artist that helped me drew up the design from my idea in like 30 minutes. My tattoo is beautiful and I get so many compliments on it. The second time I went in I was recognized and treated like an old friend, highly recommend this studio.

I got my first tattoo last night at the Smiling Buddha Tattoo Studio. I originally went to California Tattoos; but, after waiting over half an hour with no more acknowledgement than a less-than-friendly glance, I decided to go elsewhere. The guys at Smiling Buddha were incredibly friendly, fast, and precise. The studio was very clean, all needles and ink-wells were single-use. Very professional. There were tons of designs to choose from, but they're not afraid of custom work. I had my own design mostly drawn out. My artist, Chris Saint Clark, helped me smooth it out and and add a few finishing touches then and there, no waiting. Because it was my first time, I was incredibly nervous. The friendliness of the staff at Smiling Buddha really helped me to relax and enjoy myself. Chris kept me talking and it was all over before I knew it. The design looks great and turned out exactly the way I wanted it. A friend of mine also got a tattoo last night. Her artist, Jamie "Hime" Gandy, was also very friendly and did incredible work. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I highly recommend these guys.

Cons: none that come to mind

Artist willing to draw/amend the design that my husband wanted on the spot, not like the other tattoo business that said it would take a week. The artist redrew part of the design(Celtic dragon) in ten minutes and the tattoo looks fantastic. We have looked at designs to add on to his previous work for about four years now, and the wait was worth it. I also had work done on my arm (Celtic knotwork band) and was so impressed that I went back the next day and had more work done on my ankle(tribal dragon). So, between the two of us, we had work done by three artists. They were knowledgeable about issues pertaining to their work, professional, and informative. The compliments that we've received are awesome, we will be returning to them in the future.

I have gotten all 4 of my tattoos at Smiling Buddha. They do a wonderful job and the artist are all very experienced. Studio is nice and clean and even smells good! They do a great job with color ink also.
