I went in there looking for an inexpensive guitar for my daughter to learn on... they worked with me and got me an amazing set up for not much money ... I was so impressed with these guys that I decided to buy another guitar (not from them but from a buddy) and then I signed my daughter and I up for lessons... I can't wait!

I recently made the purchase of my dreams from the best music store ever. Not only did I get a great deal, but the service was perfect. Thanx Jonathan

Freedman's Music new store in Bluffton is great! They have knowledgeable employees that are easy going and not agressive.
They also have a great music school - teaching guitar, drums and piano. I would definitely reccommend this place. It's much more convenient than having to go all the way to Savannah.

This store, and an employee named Jonathan in particular, is the best music store I've ever been to.

On a whim, I decided to learn to play the guitar. I walked in there with absolutely NO knowledge of guitars. I had no idea what I wanted or how much I should pay.

I told Jonathan my situation and prepared myself for the attempted robbery. To my surprise, he explained the differences between the guitars, told me the best one for me was the $60 acoustic! He then played a song on the $60 model to assure me the sound was good.

I purchased the guitar and lessons ($60/month). Not only did I get the guitar and lessons for $120, I also got a couple extras thrown in for free!

I suggest that even if you live in Savannah, you should make a trip to Freedman's in Hinesville. This is the best quality service I've experienced in a LONG time!

*PS - They also match prices at other music stores!

O.k. so I was in Freedman's Music store in Hinesville the other day, looking for a guitar I couldn't find ( the music store I work at in Savannah doesn't carry the type I was looking for ). They had this kid working there, must've been like 20-21 years old. Long red hair. He was melting a sick guitar solo in a way that was stunning. I mean I teach guitar at the store I wrk at in Savannah. I'm also 43 years old, been playing guitar since I was 13. Love metal.
So, from that moment on I was curious to chat wit the employee. Twenty minutes later found me sure that this employee was the real deal. He knew all about every guitar and amp I asked him about. He even knew all about how to open up a guitar and repair and mod it. PLUS, he could shred like nothing I have ever seen. And I mean good classical style too.
Bottom line is this, if you are in the HInesville and/or SAV area, go down to Freedman's Music in Hinesville and ask for Jonathan. I am sure he will know the answer to whatever quetions you may have about anything even remotely related to rocking the ****out. Taking lessons from him at that store is something I would do if I could. It's definately gonna be worth your while!

I don't have many gripes with this store. I mean, it's the only music store in all of Hinesville. It's rather small, and since they sell instruments, it would obviously be expensive. Some of their deals aren't as well as others, and sometimes the prices can be really high...

The service....was mediocre at best. Me and my friends waited about 10 minutes before someone attended us at the register. Even then, he wasn't attending us fully. I think we had to explain about 3 times what we needed.

Other than that, the store is nice. It has a lot of supplies, and is great for the musician.

PROS: Only music store, lots of supplies
CONS: not that good service
