Periwinkle

Stumbled upon Periwinkle a few days ago while visiting the Booth Western Art Museum. What a lovely shop. I really enjoyed the handmade jewelry section. I actually tried on several items of clothing and purchased a beautiful dress, much to my suprise it fitting me! I will be back and have such a good experience when visiting all the shops in Cartersville.

I went in a few weeks ago and bought a dress. so not worth the money! I wore it twice and it began to fray and fall apart. Was really disappointed. The store was fun and cute. The jewelry was ok. But I really had to look for something that was worth purchasing at the risk of having it fall apart.

I found the 'under the bridge' shops because my husband is a teacher at KSU and his student's told him about a resturaunt in Cartersville, the Appalacian Grill. The food was absolutly wonderful. We were able to visit a shop called Periwinkle, just down from the resturaunt, I was able to buy some really funny cards for my friends, and I bought a lamp for my sister...she's got that really funky taste, and the jewelry was too much for me to look at (we were out of time, I'll be back hopefully). I had a great time!

I visited this shop a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience! They are very friendly and helpful. There prices are great! The clothes and jewelry were so eclectic...things you couldn't find anywhere else.

I bought a few items at this store while on vacation last week. The clasp on the bracelet I bought broke as soon as I got home. I was disappointed that this occurred but the other items I bought so far have held up. There were some interesting and fun decorating ideas shown in this store.
