4 Stars: I enjoyed my facial (by jennifer m.)

My sister and I had our very first spa experience at Fleur dis Lis in Cartersville. We were happy to find they were as unpretentious as they come. I am a small business owner and my time is money/and a precious commodity. Let me tell you I literally dozed off during the initial foot bath. The music and atmosphere were very relaxing. Leticia did a fabulous facial... I'd only suggest she ask clients if they have neck problems, and offer some sort of neck support. Other than that - my sister and I had a wonderful experience, we enjoyed purchasing the facial care products as well as some make up. We loved meeting and chatting with the owner as well. Very personable. I wish we could redeem Aveda points at this salon, we'd get there more often. All the the best to Fleur dis Lis in 2008!

2 Stars: Going down hill fast (by Past C.)

I have been a customer of this salon for the last 2 years and love Letitica to death as my stylist. Though the last few times I have gone to see her for a haircut I have been very put off by the professionalism of the other staff present. When I go to the salon, like other customers, I assume that my experience will be calming, serene, and just plain relaxing. Having to listen to the staff goof off, play games while answering the phone, and gossiping is not my idea of relaxing. Also on the last occassion I felt horrible for another customer whose color job turned out awful and the staff were clueless on how to handle the situation.

This is a shame too since this is an Aveda Salon. Im pretty sure Aveda wouldnt be happy to hear about this. Also in regards to the other poster who was unhappy with their experience, that was probably the most unprofessional response that was given to her. Next time you might want to try a simple apology with a note of please come by the salon so we can work the situation out instead of a nasty, defensive retort. That response proves my point on the lack of professionalism.

This salon needs to get its act together or most of its clientele will be visiting the other Aveda salon in town.

2 Stars: I have my facts straight... (by Veronica Z.)

I requested a refund, but was refused. Why is Anonymous stating that they would be glad to refund the $35. I still to this day have not reveived the refund. 11/26/07 I have proof on my credit card statement that I paid only $50 for the cut and splash I also purchased a $15 product. Also about being on a fixed income - I was so tired after my cancer treatment that I did not realize the amount I signed for until I got home. Yes, I would still like a refund to be credited back to my visa card and I will return to this site for an update...

Very disappointed with the way this so called Salon (Fleur De Lis) over charged me. I requested the same service as I did last time. I paid only $50. This time they charged me $85. The girl at the front desk told me that the charge would only be $50. I tried to explain to her that I was over charged $35, but her response was "you should have said something earlier." I'm on a fixed income and I don't need to be lied to about the service charges after the fact. I would not have made the appointment if they were up front with the true price. It's a trap - plus I requested a pricing list and they told me that they ran out. How convenient.. If the $35 is more important than keeping a repeat costomer that spreads good reviews to friends - then by all means keep it. I will not spend another dime on this salon nor will my friends.

4 Stars: Wonderful place to pamper yourself (by Megan K.)

Foxgloves is now known as Fleur de lis Salon & Spa. They still use and sell Aveda products in the salon. They are still located in downtown Cartersville. I was simply amazed by the service I received! The adjustable sinks are so comfortable. After your hair has been washed, you are given a mini neck and shoulder massage. What a wonderful way to relax! The master stylist took time to explain and suggest a cut and style for my hair. She seemed very knowledgeable. I was thrilled with the end result! After my haircut, she proceeded to touch-up my makeup using Aveda products. I have finally found a place to treat myself and plan to return very soon.

PROS: Wonderful customer service
CONS: Expensive

4 Stars: Nice local salon and spa (by colleen b.)

Foxgloves is a very nice salon, located on Main Street in downtown Cartersville. They have convenient hours and are open on weekends. They are also an Aveda salon, so you can purchase Aveda products there, as well as enjoy them being used when they wash and style your hair. My favorite thing about foxgloves is that before they give you your shampoo, they give you a little mini massage in a massage chair. It's a really nice way to start relaxing during your hair cut.

Foxgloves is also a full day spa, offering everything from massages, to facials, pedicures and day long treatments. It is decorated very nicely inside and is nice and soothing - a great place to escape to.
