Post Renaissance sucks. The complex is surrounded by homeless people that urinate, defecate, and smoke crack in the two parks next to the complex. I once made eye contact with a bum as he hit the crack pipe while walking my dog. No joke. Sure, it looks nice on a map, but those parks are unusable.
Also, they will take every dollar from you that they can. After moving out, they used our entire security deposit and are now saying that we owe them another $500 to fix damages. Keep in mind the place was clean and unharmed when we left. No holes in the walls. No broken appliances. Nothing wrong with the place whatsoever. But they want another $500.
They also made a giant error that almost cost us our next apartment. They made some stupid clerical mistake that ended up putting an eviction notice on our credit reports. Thanks, guys.
Don't live at Post Renaissance unless you love giving away money and like being harassed by homeless people every single day. Some of them are nice, but some of them will scream at you while you sit at a red light.

I love living at post renaissance if i decide to forget the evil female dogs that work there. The women in the front office may be good to look at but they are the rudest people once you sign the lease. They are nice and all smiles until you sign the contract and they will treat you like a 5 year old. I am not some old person just complaining about every little thing, i am a female in my 20's and i have never been treated the way these women treat me. its not just me I have spoken to many people around the complex they truly have no issues other than the fact that for the amount of money that you pay the appliances are from the 1950's, also very very very pricy. But the women in the leasing office is the ultimate let down. i pay so much for this apt and i expect at least a little respect. these women from the just the standard leasing rep. to the managers are all a**holes. if you call with a complaint or question theymake you feel like you are back in 3rd graade and you need to be in time out for even asking a question. move to post if money truly isnt an issue, water and sewage has sky rocketed!!!!! the water bills are up to 65 dollars now so dont be fooled by cheap utilities. also parking is really bad! other than all of this it is great, there are break ins but you really feel like you are living outside the city and you have peace and quite until you call the leasing office. move here but dont you dare have a complaint or a question for the leasing office.
Pros: the location
Cons: leasing office staff
The Post Properties will nickel and dime you to death. Look out for "specials." If for some reason you need to terminate your lease early, you will be reponsible for paying backing a concession fee. Which is your special times the months you have resided.
