The first thing you notice when you walk into mirch masala is that upwards of half the people eating there are actually Indian. This is perhaps the most telling sign, but really the food does speak for itself.

My family and I had dinner here very recently and the food was great! We decided not to do the buffet as it did not have particular items that they serve on the menu. So we ordered the Tandoori Chicken (very moist and tasty), Chicken 65 (excellent), & Samosa Chaat all as appetizers. For dinner we had Chicken Korma & Mutton Mehti Malai with lamb. Also had Onion Kulcha and Garlic Naan. The portions were big and the price is fair. We also had some Cosmopolitan's that were good and only $6. They guys had some Indian beer which I am unsure of the name, that was in a larger glass bottle and was $13 each and they enjoyed it. 3 couples and each of us spent about $60 or so with tip. That included, drinks, apps, dinner, & naan, and doggie bags. The waitresses had forgotten some things that were ordered but quickly got the rest of the oder to the table. We would definitely eat here again.

my boyfriend and I ate here today. we were going to go to udipi cafe which is in the same strip mall, but then we realized that it was vegetarian cuisine. we ordered the mixed tandoori grill which came with shrimp, chicken, and sheekh on a bed of onions. the flavors were wonderful! we also ordered the vegetable numaish which was tasty and spicy. my boyfriend had the garlic naan which was a little too oily, but it was good. we will definitely be back!

This is not my favorite Indian restaurant in this area. With so many to choose from, average isn't good enough. And I found this food to be just average. I also think the prices are a bit high, especially in comparison to all of the other choices right in this area.

The lunch buffet was particularly disappointing - limited choices, especially for vegetarians, and really pricey.

In an area with so many Indian restaurants to choose from, Mirch Masala holds its own, but isn't necessarily our favorite. If you care about restaurant ambiance, you may prefer it to the more snack-style Indian places nearby.

Do not eat here. This place was highly recommended by several of our family members. My family and I went during the lunch buffet. When we got our plates, there were two black things crawling (I'd mention what the things are, but CitySearch won't let me type that word in my review) on the area next to the plates on the buffet. When we told the waiter, he just looked at us and acted like it was no big deal. I can understand if he possibly didn't understand what we were saying, but when he clearly saw the things crawling and still didn't react, we just walked out. I cannot believe this place. I will never eat here and I hope the proper authorities pays them a nice visit.

I liked the food there, but not as much. Did not satisfy my taste buds well enough. Also they are very pricey and is all not all that worth the money.

Terrible waitstaff was curt and slow. The food took forever, and was terrible. He suggested mild, but brought out an extremely spicy dish. Only the Naan was good. Price was unreasonable for such poor food.

I was recommended this place by some Indian friends of mine. They were right. Awsome food, great value for money (after several beers, apps and tip, only $25 a head), and it is the only authentic place in town. Don't be scared of the menu, just ask lots of questions, we did.
