It's always such a scary experience to go into a dentist office for me and even though I knew I would be having to get needles put into my gums for pain the staff was very compassionate towards me. They did all they could to try to put my mind at ease. They're a good professional team and I would recommend them to anyone who's needing a good dentist office.
I have never had a cavity in my almost 30 years before now, and suddenly I had 5! The only think in the world I am terrified of is receiving a shot in the mouth. Believe it or don't I barely felt the shots I received. I was surprised, because when I was little, I had to have multiple teeth extracted before I could have braces, and the oral surgeon always had me climbing the chair in terror and pain when giving me the shots. I would definitely recommend Atlanta Dental Group to my friends who need fillings but are scared, or have children who need fillings.
From routine cleanings to complex oral surgeries, Atlanta Dental Group is a one stop shop. The staff is professional and courteous, keeps patient wait times to a minimum, and has you in and out of the chair in an amazingly short time, even for major procedures - making it an ideal place for nervous patients or people on tight schedules. But it's not just speed - the quality of care is amazing!
They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
Had a very pleasant experience here. I was greeted by the most friendly and helpful dental staff ever! The front desk staff got me to the back to see the dentist in less than 10 minutes. The dentist did a great job with the cleaning and whitening and my teeth look extravagant now. Thank you for such wonderful service and I can't wait until my next appointment.
I've been coming to Dr. Padolsky for years. He is always very informative, compassionate, and helpful. There's never a long wait and that's one aspect I love about this office. The facility is clean and the entire staff is friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Padolsky for your next dentist visit.
Out of the four dentists I've had over the course of my life, Dr. Padolsky is by far the best. My husband and I decided it was time to switch dentists and we started bringing our family to Dr. Padolsky last year--we are so happy we did. From our very first visit, Dr. Padolsky and the rest of her staff have done everything they can to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Before, I never really liked visiting the dentist because I always left either feeling ripped off, sore, or confused about the health of my teeth and mouth. At Dr. Padolsky's he and the hygienists do a very thorough job inspecting and cleaning our teeth, they are all very very gentle, and the prices that we pay for the services we receive are fair. Dr. Padolsky takes his time to explain any issues with our teeth and discusses a course of action with us. The hygienists have taught us a great deal about how to properly take care of our teeth. Even my kids, who tend to be pretty shy, don't mind going to see Dr. Padolsky. If you dread the dentist, you should definitely switch and give Dr. Padolsky a try. I'm sure he will give you a totally different experience.
I've had two dentists in my adult life. I never fully appreciated how good they were until I made the mistake of going to Atlanta Dental Group.
I needed a crown. They demanded almost $1200 completely in advance, which should have been a caution. But I paid it and showed up on time for my first appointment.
They had gotten the appointment time wrong. (I had brought the card they gave me so, yes, I'm sure it was their mistake.) I was put in a shabby room, rather dirty for a medical facility, with cheap (and in some cases broken) furniture. It was not private and I could clearly hear conversations in other rooms. The equipment malfunctioned. The dentist would leave me sitting in the chair while working on other patients. One time I was left covered with water from the malfunctioning water and suction device. I had to find some gauze to mop the water off my sweater and pants.
The dentist botched the first impression so I had to undergo this rather painful process a second time. Then the second one wasn't right either, but they decided just to use it. The one-hour procedure took 2.5 hours.
After I went home, the temporary crown was a terrible job and I kept chewing the inside of my cheek. When I went back to get the permanent crown, it was so badly made that the dentist had to put the temporary back in and send it back to the lab. The temporary was not adjusted correctly and I kept chewing my cheek.
Third visit - crown was still not right. I began to suspect they were using a cut-rate crummy lab. The dentist adjusted it, once again working on another patient while I waited. I went home. It was not right and, just looking at it, I could see it was not the same quality as the crowns my old dentist made.
Fourth visit - the dentist gave up trying to make the crown correctly and just ground off the opposing (healthy) tooth so that they fit better.
My advice -- go somewhere else.
Pros: Convenient parking
Cons: Bad dental work in shabby surroundings at high prices
