The Connor Group... haaaa they need to change their name to the ""Con Artist Group""\r\n\r\nYes, I was drawn to this property not for it's so called LUXURY, not for it's great deals and so forth but strictly for it's schools. Morningside Courts just so happen to have the right price at the time for my budget for such a wonderful elementary school. What I should have done before choosing this property is to talk with more than just two current tenants!\r\n\r\nWhile writing this review, I will try my best not to go in detail on the same complaints the other tenants have made but please believe everything EVERY other tenant have made is TRUE!\r\n\r\n1.) PRICE: The price was right when I signed my lease but a suprise came along with the ""Heartland Regional"" bill. That bill is our water/sewer/trash bill. A bill that has not been less than $111 since moving in June of 2010.\r\n\r\nAlso, I need to mention how the rent office harassed me when it came close to my lease ending. They sent several emails and called way too much asking if I was renewing my lease. I dont need a thousand reminders telling me my lease will be up in 5-6 months. That was the only time I ever received so much communication from the rent office! SAD...\r\n\r\nI kept asking them why my rent was being raised from $899 to $1200... All they could tell me was the market and the upgrades! Are you kidding me, my apartment already had the so called upgrades before I moved in! I told them I refused to pay that amount for that complex. Needless to say, once it was time to renew they only tacked on $50 so I renewed for 6 mths this time. HUGE MISTAKE... I should've just left.\r\n\r\n2.) Keeping a clean or decent car.... FORGET ABOUT IT!\r\nThe bootleg landscape company they use to keep the property (beautiful, if that's what you want to call it)... is like a whirlwind team. They come through wide open with their blowers once a week. Anything in their path (including you) will be blown! As a result our cars are left filthy every time. Not to mention all those d*** trees that leave crap all over your car everyday as well.\r\n\r\nOne luxury amenity they offer is a car wash. LOL You've got to be kidding me. The car wash is a single parking space inbetween other regular parking spaces with a tiny sign that reads ""car wash"" and a simple water hose. How can you wash your car with other cars parked beside the space and a millions trees dropping their love all over your car. We are suppose to pull our cars in the middle of the road and block ongoing bypassers and get splashed by them as well. Stop it I say...\r\n\r\n3.) The pool... a joke. I'm not even sure it's up to code and sanitary. I never see anyone clean it yet alone check the chemical balance.\r\n\r\n4.) The fitness center... not even worth mentioning!\r\n\r\n5.) Communication... what communication????\r\nMost complexes will put out notices in form of letters or signs. We never receive any notices unless its a referel fee for new tenants. I havent received a notice about the water being cut off in my building, nor about strong fumes from chemicals being used in my building, nor about contractors in my building taking over all space and loud noise. \r\n\r\nFirst off I'm pregnant and a have a young child that lives with me. My apartment was flooded by an upstairs neighbor... no communication from the rent office! Do you think they offered anything for my inconvience? NO\r\n\r\nMy air went out and is still out! Pure D Hell is all I can say! It's extremely hot and not to mention the fumes! Do you think they are concerned about the health of my unborn baby and my young daughter? Of course not... right now this is a on going batttle... \r\n\r\nI CAN GO ON AND ON... but take my words seriously...\r\nSTAY AWAY!

I am a current resident and I absolutely love it here! The maintenance guys do try there best to fix a problem promptly. The front office staff are super sweet, exp. Brittany, supper sweet. My neighbors are nice and I like my two bedroom.
