Hands down the BEEEEEEEEST PLACE AROUND:) They are very knowledgeable and eager to help. Rick and his guys are not in it to rip you off or just make a buck off of you. They truly are about the customer and making sure it is done RIGHT the first time. My spouse is currently on his 4th deployment and I surely didn't want to have to break the news that his cars (his baby) clutch or transmission was going out. I had it towed in first thing this morning and I will be picking it up tomorrow:) Rick and his guys will ALWAYS be my first choice and highly recommended from me...word of mouth is powerful and I have already made tons of calls about being super stoked. THANKS GUYS:)

Both my wife and I required cars within 12 hours of each other. The other dealerships in the area that we stopped by were closed. When we pulled into the lot at Tansky, we were kindly greeted and asked if we needed help or just wanted to look around. Our salesman Jordan was patient, not pushy at all and answered all our questions honestly. When we decided on a car both Jordan and his manager Kyle worked with us to match our finance needs without being pushy or rude. They worked very hard to match my wife's budget and stayed within what she said she could afford. When I went back the next day to get my truck, I specifically asked for Jordan and Kyle to work with and was treated with just as much respect and patience as my wife was shown the night before. I would highly recommend Tansky Toyota and plan on going back for my next truck. If you decide to go, ask for Jordan Fisher or Kyle Law. Both gentlemen worked very hard for us and would do the same for you.

Warren Mead was our salesman and was awesome. No pressure or b.s., just an awesome price on an awesome vehicle. Took delivery on our 2011 sienna xle on 9/17/10. Warren stayed after close for an hour explaining all the bells and whistles to my wife and I. Their entire staff was not what I had grown accustomed to at other dealers. Warren and the folks at Tansky were kind, courteous, and able to give me one heck of a deal.

My wife and I were both in the market for new cars. As we drove around we found that Tansky was the only dealership that was still open. We were promptly (not rudely) greeted by Jordan who asked if we had any questions or just wanted to look around. As we talked with Jordan about what we were looking for, he took us around the lot pointing out cars that we might like. He answered all our questions honestly and when we took a few test drives he went with us. As we all got into the first car he stated, ""Pretend that I'm not here, but ask questions if you have them."" He did just as he said. After a little polite conversation he sat quietly in the back and let my wife and I discuss the good and the bad of the car that we were riding in. He never interrupted, argued or defended the car we were in. When we were done he asked what we liked and didn't like about the car we had driven. Each car we drove, three in all, he was patient, quiet and respectful of my wife and I.When we had found the car that we wanted Jordan brought us into the offices to start the paperwork. It was at this time that we were introduced to Kyle the manager. Kyle was very helpful in making sure that my wife could afford the car and that her payments fit the budget that she had set. Kyle gave financing options to us and stayed within the payments that my wife said that she could afford. There was never any push to purchase something that she could not afford. Kyle remained respectful throughout the entire process. There was never any pushing or rushing through the entire car buying process.I went back the next day to purchase a truck for myself and specifically asked for Jordan and Kyle to help me. I was treated with as much respect and patience as my wife was shown the night before. Given that we didn't leave the dealership until after 10pm (which is an hour after they close) and I was there bright and early the next day, I was expecting a little grogginess or shortness with the sales staff, but I can happily say that all I got was a good honest welcome back and lots of good help.I would highly recommend working with the people from Tansky.

Recently purchased my car there after hearing great things from a friend, and was very impressed by the friendly professionalism I experienced. Not only was my salesman honest and knowledgeable, but the managers were sensitive to my needs and did not ""push for a sale"" like I experienced at Germain. I refer everyone I know to Tansky as I know I will never regret it. Pros: Honest, friendly, professional, will tailor to your needsCons: None! Their bad reviews do not do them justice!

Had a very pleasant experience looking at a few cars there. One of the sales people (John) met us outside and was VERY helpful. We accomplished all we needed to accomplish in about 20 minutes. Got all the information we needed without being pushed to make a purchase.

My husband and I narrowed down our search to an Accord or Camry. We LOVE our Honda and have owned 3 (1 new and 2 used). We decided to go with the best deal. And, by far we got the best deal at Tansky's Toyota. Immke Honda was just not willing to budge. The customer service at Tansky was really nice. Korey took care of us, was not creepy and was not pushy, and Kyle his manager was willing to work with us on price. And the finance guy was helpful and nice.

I've been a Toyota buyer since my first camry in 2000, and have tried my luck with almost every dealer in central and southern Ohio. The Tansky family is the only one I trust with my family & friends. Their salespeople do everything in their power to help, even if you aren't buying! Service visits are painless, sales visits are quick (especially after the 1st purchase), and car selection is top-notch. Can't say enough about them. Go see for yourself!\n

My husband bought a new 2003 Toyota Corolla from Tansky, we have continued to take the car back to them for service. They have always been very thorough with telling us what does and doesn't need to be done with the car. We have had such a good experience with Tansky over the last few years that we are now considering buying a Scion from them next.\n

Customized used vehicle to meet my needs, set me up with aftermarket leather seats. Gave me many rides home from the dealership! Just all around wonderful experience; highly recommend to others.

I requested price quotes on Corolla, Elantra, Civic, and Sentra from almost all Columbus area dealers over the net, and decided to get a Corolla for low price and reliability. Tansky's was the first to set me a time for visit, and committed to match the quote I got from Germain. Well, there of course was some at the spot haggling still to be done but they eventually did match the price promised, and I was very satisfied with everything. Well, that was before the finance guy kept pushing me to buy this and that for extra for tons of money, and eventually made me swallow the GAP insurance whereas I could have gotten it for so much cheaper from my insurance company. \n\nWhen I picked up the vehicle, everything seemed fine until I checked toyotaownersonline and realized that they did not perform the stuck accelerator recall service. So in 2-weeks time, I was back at the dealership, although the service was no hassle. Just out of curiosity, I checked a few other in-stock vehicle VINs randomly and realized that Tansky's simply do not perform the recall on in-stock vehicles!!! Are they nuts?\n\nThe bottom line is -\n1. I recommend Tansky's for the price. Check price first, and they will negotiate as long as you stick to your gun.\n2. Do not buy absolutely *anything* extra from the finance department (the guy who does your paperworks). It's all rip-offs.\n3. Before taking delivery of the vehicle, check toyotaownersonline to make sure that your car doesn't have an open recall. Make them perform the recall before pick-up, if needed.

I made an appointment with several days' notice for a demonstration of the Hylander Hybrid. When I arrived for my visit, they were unable to provide a demonstration, and had no interest in talking with me further (no one offered to reschedule when they would be able to help me; no one tried to collect contact information in order to follow up, etc.) I am a professional female in my 40's and had provided sufficient identifying information in advance that they could have already researched my buying power. They were indifferent at best, and just let me drive away. I drove right to Toyota West with no appointment, met an extremely helpful salesperson right off the lot, and closed the deal for a fully loaded car within a couple of hours. I will not return, and I will share my experience widely.

I tried to buy a car through this dealership and they treated me with no level of professionalism. The first day I went, nobody cared to ask me what I was looking for and showed no interest in sales. Another day I was at dealership because I got the best rate from internet compared to others. The Salesman was really nice and explained all the details about the car and even took us for a test drive. Now when I sat down to talk about numbers, the so called "Manager" walked to me with a number. At this point when I asked if there is any room for negotiations he just BLASTED at me and took off saying that "You are not here to buy a car and wasting my time and I am not interested in selling car to you". This is the WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY DEALERSHIP. I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I have been at Tansky Sawmill Toyota and feel that it was discriminatory.

Mr "Manager", just for your information- I bought a new car from another dealership and at a better price than you offered. More important is that you lost a customer and may lose many more in future as a result of this service.

Thanks for the WORST customer service.

I bought a new Camery at Tansky's in Feburary. When I signed the papers they knew two days before I stopped in that they could not sale any cars because of the recall. When I went to pick up the car two days later, I was then informed that I could not have the car because it was being recalled and that I would have to wait until a replacement part for the gas pedal was shipped in. Two days later I was talking to Honda about buying a car from them. They suggested that I cancel the deal with Toyota first then they would sale me a car. I immeditaly went to Tansky to inform them that I no longer wanted the car which they were unable to deliver. I was told immeditaly that they had received a new gas pedal from the manufactor and that my car was ready to take home. I found out later from Toyota that my car was never on the recall list and that no repairs had been performed by Tansky. About four months later I had a rear tire (BridgeStone) totally fail. I stopped in to Tansky to have it replaced. I was told that they did not know when they could take care of the problem because that the tire needed to be sent to the tire manufactor which could take many days. During this time I would have to drive on the donut spare or I could buy a new tire from them now and possible have it installed some time that day or tomorrow. I complained to management. Their response was to hand me my keys and told me to go down the street to a tire dealer who would replace the tire. I went to a tire shore. They replaced the tire but I had to pay 40% of the orginal price. I also had a oil change at Tansky a month earlier. I had a long wait and had problems trying to get my car back because I had to wait until the service person who wrote up the order to return from where ever he was. Management attitude is at this dealership is condescending and disrepectful. I am sixtly three years old and this is the only dealership that I have had received such bad service and deception. Toyota does not have any control over these indipendent dealers, so do not expect any real help from Toyota. Also these tires supplied on a new Toyota Camery have no warrenty on them by Bridgestone. If they are defective you are on your own. I am afraid that I made a bad choice in buying a Toyota.

I would just like to let Tansky customers know that the employees at Tansky have no control over how the place is managed, they are over worked and their pay is always messed with. This being the reason you always see new faces.

Terrible service department. I took my 4 runner in on Friday for transmission gasket repair,$1,500. They had my truck for a week and tried twice to fix leak. They gave it back and still leaks. Kyle the Manager said It must need a new transmission and that would be $3,500. They also lost my wheel lock when they "inspected" the brakes without asking me. They are borderline criminals.

I tried to buy a car from this dealership and they treated me and the situation with no level of professionalism. They lied to me on multiple occasions. I was told that I bought a car from this dealership, the money had gone through, and they said they had filled out all my paper work. All that was left for me to do was come sign the papers and pick it up. The dealership told me they had taken it off the lot and marked it as sold. I was driving there from five hours away in order to pick it up, and they decided to tell me that someone was test driving it to buy it after I had already called to tell them I was on the road. They then decided to not call me back for two hours before telling me that they sold it to someone else. They sold the car that I bought to someone else. I was told that it was my car and it was held for me. They had even been in contact with my bank and the loan was approved. I had been working with this dealership for over a week getting it set up. I was told that they would not sell it. Also, to make matters worse, it turns out they had not done any paper work for me. By the sounds of it, they had no intention of even giving me the car after telling me I bought it. They lied to me twice (holding the car and filling out the paper work) and the car I had been told was mine was sold to someone else. This is a lying, underhanded dealership. Never do business with them if you appreciate any sort of moral standard or professionalism.

Toyotas are great. Tansky sucks! But just to be fair, they did have the best price for my car. That's why they have "good" for price.

I requested a quote through Toyota.com, and they were the last to send me the quote. That's after Toyota asked me if I received the requested quote and I answered that I didn't.

Buying a brand new Toyota could have been from anywhere. I asked quotes from everyone and asked everyone to compete. Tansky won. Bought it from them.

The first time I walked into Tansky to look at a car but wasn't ready to buy, the salesman treated me like horribly. On the day of the purchase, the sales rep was alright. It was a different rep.

The paper work is misleading. I guess they are used to people not reading anything and just signing with the excitement of the car purchase. They basically asked you to give up your right to privacy. They state that they would sell my information unless I request another form, fill it and request them not to sell my info. BE VERY CAREFUL ON THIS POINT.

And of course, they unnecessarily runs my credit. I specifically told them that I wanted to apply for Toyota Financing, but they had to run their own credit check without telling me. Not that I mind, but I just HATE the fact that they would just lie to me and think that they would get away with it. If they had told me truthfully, it would have been okay.

The paperwork guy was something else too. Imagine a guy who's full of himself and is trying to sell you something with very little interest in you or your purchase. But at the end of the transaction, they did mention over and over again that they would like to have the best review on the Toyota Survey. And they sent me a letter for that too.

They know next to nothing about accessories for your car. So, don't even bother. They will recommend you to another horrid place, Columbus Car Audio and Accessories, to get accessories.

To sum it up. I love my Toyota. Tansky had the best price this time around. If the price was the same, I'd buy from some place else. There were a few nice reps from Buyers and Germain.

Fast forward a few months:
I had my first oil change at Tansky yesterday. I was in line just like everyone else. (I am Asian, btw.) A non-ethnic lady came in after me. The service desk person chooses to help the non-ethnic lady. At that point, one of his colleagues point out the fact that I was in line and I was there first. The service desk person glanced at me, ignored me and continued to help the non-ethnic lady. Obviously, I was not happy about the situation. I calmly walked to the reception area to ask for someone to speak to. There was apparently no other managers other than the sales manager. Understandably, he didn't care much. It wasn't his department. So, I talked to the reception lady again. She said someone would call me.

This morning, I received a call from Kyle the service manager, who was very nice. He understood the situation and said that he would talk to his service team and that his GM would be calling me. I was very please with how Kyle handled it.

About half an hour later, I received a call from Bob the GM. I was expecting a generic apology and yada yada yada. But that was not the case. Instead of that, he did a few things:
1. he accused me of racism for identifying the other lady as a different race
2. defended his racist employee
3. started questioning my color (how rude)
4. pointed out the fact I didn't give them a 100% on the Toyota review because they ran unauthorized credit checks when I was about to buy my car

At that point, I told Bob that we should stop this call and never call me again, politely. And he said that he doesn't want me at his dealership anymore. O Bob, why would I come back? How silly of you!

Salesman unwilling to answer questions. Seemed annoyed we were there. Told us he didn't need to deal - they never deal!!! Humm with the current state of economy and all the dealerships bail outs, Tansky must be rolling in old money! Bought a brand new car at a competitor for much less money!

My husband and I had a terrible experience at Tansky. The car we were interested in was over our budget. When the salesmen asked what price we would pay, we told him our top price. He said, ""Fine."" We asked, ""Really?"" and he replied, ""Yes, would you like to test drive it?"" \nWe then paid to have the car inspected by our mechanic and returned to the lot prepared to purchase the car at the price we discussed with the salesmen. \nWhen we returned we were told by another salesmen that the man we spoke with earlier was ""not authorized"" to quote those kind of prices and ""doesn't know what he's talking about."" \nThe manager became involved and reported that the initial salesmen, who was now no where to be found, had said ""WHAT IF he could get us *our price*"". \nThey did not honor the initial price quote, argued semantics, wasted three hours of our time, plus the money we spent to have the car inspected. \nWe will never deal with Tanksy again and recommend you do the same.

Go see for yourself!\r\n\r\nclassy service + kind people + honest knowledge = great experience

Recently purchased my car there after hearing great things from a friend, and was very impressed by the friendly professionalism I experienced. Not only was my salesman honest and knowledgeable, but the managers were sensitive to my needs and did not "push for a sale" like I experienced at Germain. I refer everyone I know to Tansky as I know I will never regret it. Pros: Honest, friendly, professional, will tailor to your needsCons: None! Their bad reviews do not do them justice!

I have brought numerous cars and have had Chico come to my house and tint it. I was very impressed by how he presented himself and how he ran his business. He has one of the best shop in Columbus. If you ever want to get your car done by this shop, please do not hesitate and take your car down there. You will be very suprised on how they conduct business there. Understand that, yes there are alot of cars there and there is a waiting time but all in all you will be more than please with the out come of your vehicle. 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!!!! THANKS CHICO!

My brother went to Tansky a couple days ago because the moonroof in his 2007 Toyota Camry was leaking. He was no longer under warranty and had to pay full price for whatever was to be done. They told him the drain tube and clips on one side were bad. The parts were cheap, but of course it would be an ""all day thing"" and so labor costs would add up to $650 dollars. He paid the fee for having the car looked at and immediately went elsewhere. He found a place near downtown that specializes in sun and moon roofs. They said it looked like the dealership didn't even reattach what they took apart. They ran compressed air through the tube that Tansky said needed replaced and put the whole thing back together. $90 later the problem was fixed with no new tube needed.

I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I have been at Tansky Sawmill Toyota by someone who is supposed to be a manager. If you tell a customer you will call them, you should keep your word and call them. When I ordered a car, every single time I was told that I would receive a call, I was the one that had to call them. Just because the "manager" did not like the deal I wanted, he sold the car I ordered out from under me and told me I shoud take my business elsewhere!!!
I will be telling everyone I know about my horrible experience.

I normally do not take time out for reviews, but in this case I wanted to tell others about the sheer incompetence of SERVICE department of Tansky Toyota. Their INCOMPETENCE caused wastage of lot of my time, besides some needless repair expenses. They are incompetent and in the end when their incompetence became evident, they became discourteous.

Prefer Toyota West or Toyota Direct.

My husband bought a new 2003 Toyota Corolla from Tansky, we have continued to take the car back to them for service. They have always been very thorough with telling us what does and doesn't need to be done with the car. We have had such a good experience with Tansky over the last few years that we are now considering buying a Scion from them next.

The service at this place is the worst I have experienced so far. I baught ""03 Avalon"" at this place in 2004. Since then, I used to take my care for oil change to this place. For every oil change I have to wait at least two hours. During one instance, I have to wait 3 hours. When I complained about my long wait to the service person, he told me that I would give 10% of my next 30K mile service charge in addition to loaner car. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was told that they could not honor this as the management changed. I would never go again and strongly recommend to all my friends and collegues against going to this place.\n\n
