Worst property manager in Savannah. Total superiority complex and I honestly don't know how this loser stays in business. Ive always paid my rent on time and I keep the property in much better conditions than I found it, and I am still talked to like a child when ever I have the unfortunate incident of seeing him. His office is a total dump and all he ever talks about is how successful he is. Im sure he only treats people the way he does because he knows what a failure he is, but come on, seriously? What a joke of an old man. RENTERS BEWARE.

I rented a house from Mr. Mitchell and found the entire six months that we had to deal with him a nightmare. He refuses to accept phone calls or emails, so any communication between him and you must be via US Mail or hand delivered notes. I did call him once to inform him of a water leak in the property and he called me back not to address the leaking water, but to scream at me for violating his no phone call rule. Mr. Mitchell also refuses to issue receipts for payment, which could make proving that you have paid your rent on time and in full not a guaranteed prospect. In short Mr. Mitchell cost the owner of the property that he was managing two good tenants. Personally and professionally I find him a repugnant man that preys upon the uneducated and poor who cannot afford to fight him in court.

Mr. Mitchell is definitely a grumpy old man type. I imagine he has had to develop a "tough" attitude because of his dealings with many poor tenants. However, being rude, short, and nasty to people who are not bad tenants is no way to earn repeat business. I am able to over look it because I worked in a retirement home so I think the attitude is just adorable, but I can see how this demeanor would immediately insult and anger most people. His policies are strict (and greatly outdated,) but as long as he is informing you of them ahead of time prior to the lease signing, and you agree to them (no grace period at all, no partial payments, no checks or cash- money orders only, no phone calls or emails only handwritten letters etc) then you should honor them. If you are a good tenant that pays on time then the grace period shouldn't be an issue, and I did find that he had repairs made in a timely manner. For me, standing in line at the post office with hundreds of dollars trying to get a money order just became too much hassle. I will be dealing with someone else who is appreciative of a great tenant and doesn't treat me like a criminal.

Very unprofessional and nasty. I do not recommend this company at all, find a rental elsewhere. This man had been around here forever indeed but imagine w/ good ethics and treating people decent how much more profitible and just better business could be.

Landlord is utterly rude and unprofessional. He mandated that the rent is due on the 1st of each month with no grace period. Never allowed contact from tenants regarding any concerns of the property unless written and placed in his office. No phone calls. After writing notices about property, it would take several days or even wks before somone came by to fix things and the landlord even tried to charge us for any repairs. Months before the end of our lease we were told that we were not getting a security deposit back for whatever reason. There was no damage to the property and was probably in better shape when we left than when we came. We decided not to fight it though because of all the stress that had already been caused. The property was nice and in a great location but management/landlord needs a major attitude adjustment.
