El Charro Mexican Restaurant

I had the Mexican stew..excellent. And the waitresses are very nice, friendly, and fun! The speedy during Lunch is an great price under $4. I often try the cheese quesdillas with mushroom, spinach, and chicken. This is fantastic. Above average mexican food at a great price.

We love to go to El Charro when I am in Covington. We celebrated my sister and her friends birthays there. The food was great and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere was good and it is decorated in the Mexican culture theme.

This is one of the greatest mexican restaurants around! It is definitely worth the job from Stockbridge. The prices are great, and the service and atmosphere make it more than worth the drive!

We love to eat at El Charro! Yes, they have the normal "combination" meals that can be found at every Mexican restaurant, but they also have a number of excellent dishes that are unique to their restaurant.

We recently had the Carne Asada tacos and they were absolutely delicious!! The salsa is great (not the watered down mild versions found at most places) and the chips are always warm.

You'll enjoy the service too. The servers are friendly and efficient. You can order, eat and finish quickly without feeling rushed - or take your time and linger with friends.

PROS: friendly staff and great food
CONS: can be a bit of a wait -- so come early!

We enjoyed excellent service on a recent school field trip. The manager even gave us our meals free to thank us for doing a great job as teachers. The food was delicious and delivered in a very timely manner!
