The University of Georgia is Georgia's flagship university. It claims to be one of the top public universities in the country, and has very cheap in-state tuition (though most students qualitfy for the HOPE scholarship). Though the education I received was decent, this is a research institution and the professors' top priority is not their students. The school is what you make of it -- you can get by with relative ease in your classes, or you can get to know your professors and challenge yourself -- the choice is yours.

The University of Georgia in Athens is a great place to spend four years. D1 Athletics, great educational setting, you can't beat it, unless you go to Auburn

The University of Georgia, located in Athens, GA. is one of the major universities in Georgia. It's a liberal arts college with several great programs and one of the few veterinary schools in the country. The campus is large but easy to navigate. The north campus features several beautiful historic southern buildings and impressive architecture, including the Georgia Museum of Art, while the south campus is home to more recent additions to the campus. The campus is also located right in downtown Athens, so all you have to do is stop off campus to find lots of great shops, restaurants and bars. Whether you're considering going to school here or just on a visit to Athens, take time to walk around and check things out

The campus of University of Georgia is beautiful. There are huge trees and alot of green space on North Campus near the famous Arches. Located next to downtown, be sure to walk through and ring the victory bell near the fountain on game day. Although this campus is large enough to fit 35,000 students, it has a great vibe and a true college feel to it. Parking can be very difficult, but the bus system is great.
