**** This place is a rip off and full of dishonesty. Stay away ****

Took my car in for a simple oil change. As soon as you walk in they try to upsell you on buying a plan of 5 oil changes because their "special" is ending at the end of month.

After your car is being worked on, they come into the lobby in a group of 3 or 4 and first use a bit of reverse psychology by telling you your car is the cleanest they've seen in a while so you feel good about yourself but then quickly try to upsell you more services and they try to educate you on why it's important to get those services done.

I got my oil change and the next day my car started to stutter or hesitate when I accelerated from a stopped position. This happened for a week so then I call a friend of mine who is an honest and respectable mechanic and sure enough there was a hose that was disconnected. Now, this wasn't a hose that can just come undone on its own. This hose has several clamps that have to be manually disconnected.

In other words, America's Service Station mechanics purposely mess around with your car so that you can come in and get your car serviced again all in the name of profit.

I have asked other people in the Woodstock area about their experience with this company and they have told me similar stories.

Stay away from this place if you want to avoid getting your car messed with and your hard earned money stolen!

Went here for an oil change about 2 months ago when I was staying in Woodstock and they provided me with excellent service at a reasonable price. Will do business with again.

I had my serpentien belt and my flex pipe replaced at America's Service Station in Sept. 2006 because I was moving back to New Hampshire. One month after getting back here my serpentien belt broke, and now 11 months later, I am having to have my flex pipe replaced because it has a big hole in it. Shotty parts and way over priced! These guys knew I was a working mom with teens, and they took advantage of me! Shame on them...they should be shut down!

Took my car in for some AC work and was estimated 395 for a new belt, fix the a/c compress and recharge. Then was called back and was told I needed a new receiver dryer now totaling 600. Then called back again and was told I needed a new A/C compressor now the total was over 1000 !Ok, not knowing to much about cars I have to believe that I need what they say, although the "how much can we get away with.." approach sucks. Then I shopped on-line to see how the part prices compare and found an average price was about 60 - 80% less then what they were charging me! I expected a little mark up but that is crooked.I will not go back and I would warn anyone to stay away from Americas Service Station in Woodstock.

We first encounted America's Service Station when we bought a book of oil changes. It was a great deal but when you go in there they always try to sell you services that you don't need.

As a women I hate going to a mechanic because they always try to take advantage of you. This is business is the perfect example.

While you are waiting in their waiting room for your car to have an oil change they will come in and try to sell you anything from brakes to transmission work.

I have noticed that they only hit up the women they never do this to the men so women BEWARE!!
