This place has been one of my favorites since moving to Atlanta. Most nice restaurants you get small portions and pay too much. But at brookwood everything is huge. You don't expect that from a place of this caliber. It is a little bit more expensive but it makes up for it in service, quality, and portion size. They have been around a long time for a reason. Highly recommend it for any occasion!!

As it is essentially across the street from where i live i have been here on a few occasions. On almost every occasion it has either taken forever to be seated, or once we have been seater the service was slow. Not only was it slow, but it seemed like they didnt even care. IT was so bad one time that the manager gave us a very very genrous gift certificate to make up for things.

When we came back to redeem the gift certificate unforunately the service was slow, and my steak was overdone.

I have been back a couple other times with friends as they like it, but it just nver does it for me. The menu is ok, and the food is just ok, just not worth your night out. MY other reviews are usually quite generous, this place though...

Pros: OTher people seem to like it, reasonable price

Cons: TERRIBLE service, only so so food

Solid choice for food fun. This is a good place for lunch or dinner. The food is tasty and service is good. Not always consistent but still an excellent business lunch place.

Many people love this place, but not me. In my opinion the food is just not that good. It just didnt taste right. The appeal of the place was nice. Kind of romantic even. So like I said maybe its just me because lots of people like this place.

The filet mignon is amazing! Actually, so is the bread, the salad, the chicken strips, and the list goes on and on. Lovely restaurant, great staff, convenient location, and delicious food!

My boyfriend and I went to Brookwood Grill for the first time on Friday. We LOVE it. The staff was great and very attentive. We started with the Chicken Satays, they were fabulous. I had the Asian Chicken salad and he had the Chicken Finger Platter. The salad was refreshing and plentiful. My boyfriend being a Chicken Finger connoisseur quickly put them at the top of his list. The sides we tried were the Gouda Mac N' Cheese and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Coming from a very dissapointing New Years Dinner at Ruth's Chris, eating at Brookwood Grill has delighted us and we can't wait to return with friends . Brookwood Grill has quickly become a favorite

Whether you're looking for a great, romantic dinner or just a fun meeting place with friends, Brookwood Grill has it all. The atmosphere is wonderful...dark wood oval-shaped bar with great wine list. Food is consistently great, and you can get anything from a burger to filet! Never had a bad meal there!

Ambiance: Nice, like a Houston's Knock-off. Hostess was friendly, seated us reasonably quick. Our waiter seemed bored & insisted on rambling on & on about the menu, describing every dish in excruciating detail while we sat there trying to concentrate on figuring out what we wanted from the menus we already had in our hands. He was a big fella, kinda gallootish, yet managed to come off as snooty.

We asked if the spinach-artichoke dip was any good & he recommended it. He brought it out and it was bland, mushy & tasteless. Very Applebee's. The cajun chicken penne was okay, though the sauce was very much like nacho cheese dip, just thicker & with a sprinkle of cayenne.

My dinner date got a salad with steak & fruit, I forget the name, and ordered the steak rare. He does that because he enjoys his steak medium rare & most places will either cook it one or two stages hotter or just burn it to medium well. They only over-cooked some of the steak pieces to medium rare, the rest were medium.

Highly Not recommended. If you want Good Pricey "American Fare," go to Houston's. I you'd like fairly crappy & Waaaaay overpriced American food, swing on by to the Brookwood Grill.

Good service, great staff and good prices. They have a good selection at a convenient location. They also have a great sunday brunch. Gone here for a family gathering and everyone found something they enjoyed.

Our meal at the Brookwood Grill was very, very good. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked and was the first time I think I've ever experienced the full range of flavors possible from a steak. The Caesar Salad was among the best I've ever had. The waitstaff is very attentive, and the atmosphere is very cozy. It's not cheap, but in this case you actually get what you pay for.

Brookwood Grill in Alpharetta was great: Food, service, wait for seating, everything.

We arrived at Brookwood Grill and discovered an hour wait. They had a nice live band, but it was a little loud in the bar area. They had a very cool wait management system that I had to ask about because it really helped keep us at the restaurant instead of going some place else. They used a system by Queuent that called us on our mobile phones when seating was available. So even though we had to wait an hour, we didn't have to wait at the bar and shop around the local stores while we waited. When we were called (after about 50 minutes of waiting), we were at the other end of the center but the system let us delay by 15 minutes. When we returned to Brookwood Grill they sat us at the very next table.

For being on an hour wait, the restaurant didn't seem that crowded but all the tables were full and everything was very smooth and easy to navigate. The server greeted us at our table and was very professional. We ordered drinks while we looked over a very well designed menu. The drinks were served within a few minutes and we ordered the Chicken Skewers - A great appetizer and now one of my favorites.

For dinner I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. This is usually one of my benchmarks for American cuisine because of the simplicity of the dish yet ease for something to go wrong. It was excellent, not too buttery, Shrimp was not over done and tough, and vegetables were crisp.

All in all, a great casual night out for my wife and I. Highly recommended for a dinner + movie night. And being able to walk around instead of standing in a crowded restaurant waiting for a table, really made the evening.

Pros: Considered the guest from the door to the check - even waiting was made easy!

Cons: Patio was full of smokers.

Great ambience and outstanding service but the food was a disappointment for the most part. The presentation of the entrees was wonderful, unfortunately that was the only high point of the meal. The peppercorn tuna salad did not reflect the menu description whatsoever. It primarily consisted of field greens, walnuts and tasteless mandarine oranges - only one tiny piece of avocado in the entire salad. The serving of tuna was about half of the normal serving size given at most comparable establishments. My dining partner ordered the seafood special which consisted of shrimp, one crabcake, scallops (for an extra $7.95 on top of the $27.95 - which was never mentioned by the server) and one side item. This entree was good but nothing special - especially for $35.90. Overall, a large disappointment. Maybe seafood just isn't their forte? Will not be returning - wasted $80.00!

The appetizers and food are wonderfully delicious! Not your typical bar/night club fare. The live music and song request completes the experience!! Plus, look for a lot of audience interaction & particiaption!
